"Hey there Guardians. What are you doing in my home? I thought I was supposed to meet you outside." I laugh nervously.
"Don't act like we're blind. We see what's going on here." Endra said. Herobrine looks at Dream then back at me.
"Daydream, we'll continue with your trials and I'll allow him to help you." The other guardians are shocked to hear this, especially when Herobrine is letting a player help a monster.
"What are you doing Hero? He's a pro player. His kind comes to my realm to kill the ender dragon and take whatever they want. Do you know how much magicka it takes to bring her back? And don't you have a garage against players like him?" Endra said angerly.
"Yeah, they come to my realm to trade with the piglins with the gold I gave them." Zanoth said with his flames threatening to touch my home.
"I have no problems with it. What's your guys deal?" Eragon said calmly.
"Oh yeah, sure. You have no problems with it because no one goes to your realm."
"ENOUGH!" The three guardians stopped arguing. Herobrine turns to Dream.
"I know what's going on here and I was in the same situation." He glances at Endra with his eyes then back at Dream.
"I give you permission to help Daydream in her trials. But if you betray her, you'll regret it." Hero turns to me and I get on one knee to bow.
"No need to bow, Daydream. I'll inform my monsters to act like your a player so that you're not in danger from the other players." We all turn to see my mom come into the room.
"What's going in here? Oh, the guardians! I'm so sorry. I can explain."
"There's no need to explain, Teresa. We already got it covered." Hero turned to me.
"Daydream, your first trial is to survive the Overworld for five years. During that time you may attend any tournament. And since you're traveling around with him, you're going to need a team name. I'll let you choose the name." I thought for a moment before answering.
"How about… The Dream Team."
"Why do you choose that name?"
"I thought about how our names are similar to each other and how other players would call us." We were silent for a few minutes until Herobrine broke into laughter.
"That's the perfect name for you guys. Plus with those masks of your's, it's easier for my monsters to tell you apart from the other teams. Now that's out of the way. Daydream, your trial starts tomorrow at noon. That gives you time to pack anything you might need and to be with your mom a little longer before you leave. Oh, and there will be challenges for you along the way. So look for anything that's out of the ordinary. And here." Hero handed me a book.
"It's a enchanting book. You can use it to enchant weapons, armor, and food surprisingly."
"Do you know how hard it is to get something like this? It's a mythical item." Dream sounds shocked to see a item as rare as this one.
"Thank you, Herobrine. I swear by my own blood that I, Daydream, accept your trial." I get my knife out to cut my hand, but they didn't seem to like that.
"There's no need to do that."
"What, why not? Ain't it tradition to make a blood pact to truly accept the trials?"
"Yes, it is. But we made an exception for you. You got lucky this time but next time you won't be so lucky. Later guys, I gotta get back to the End before something bad happens. I'll say hi to Ender for you, Teresa." And with that, Endra was gone in a blink of an eye.
"Yeah, I gotta go deliver gold to the piglins before they go on a rampage. See y'all in hell." Zanoth summoned a portal, which made mom mad.
"You know we have a portal set up already."
"Oh sorry, My bad. I keep forgetting how you guys get to my realm." He desummoned the portal to use ours.
"I need to go and inform my monsters about you guys before set out. Don't forget about the challenges that awaits you in your travels. Be careful and good luck to both of you." Herobrine winked at Dream and then glitched out. Eragon walked up to us.
"I got a feeling that something bad is going to happen. I don't know what but be careful. A couple of days ago I saw someone who wore a white cloak talking to a player and the white cloak guy gave the player a mask just like your's but black. And I heard only two words,' kill Daydream." There's only one person who wears a white cloak.
"Entity? I thought he was a good guy and has a daughter. Why does he want me dead?"
"Like I said I don't know. It might be his doppelganger. Welp, I better get out of here and let Saphira know what's happening. Keep your eyes to the skies." Eragon walked out the door. He's the only one who uses the door.
"Wow, I never thought I'd actually see Herobrine that close without dieing. Are you sure he kills players like me?"
"You saw how the other guardians reacted to him saying you could help me. He never let's players live. But he saw something in you that made him let you live."
"What!? Herobrine is actually letting him help you with your trials? That hasn't happened in years. Not since…" Mom dazed off.
"Not since… what? Ma?" I snapped my fingers in her face and she came back to reality.
"Um, it's nothing. You should go pack. It's almost 9pm and you need your sleep before you leave tomorrow."
"Oh my Chaos, it's that late already."
"Yeah, now no more distractions." I went to my room. I know I have to travel light, so I picked my medium backpack. I packed two bottles of healing spring water, some money we've collected over the years, my bow, some arrows I've made, the book Herobrine gave me, and  two glass bottles. I made sure to leave plenty of room for food.
