"I'm sorry, WHAT!?" I can't believe it. I actually can't believe it. I'm Dream's TWIN SISTER?!
"Wow, I'm actually out of speeches right now. I never knew you had a sister. Well it's very nice to meet you malady. I'd better get back to the others and help before I'm in trouble. I hope it works out for you two." He put his helmet back on and before I knew it he was gone. Now it was just me and Dream.
"Look, I'm sorry for the sudden outburst. I wanted to wait a little longer to tell you but Cap was eyeing you up and he left me with no choice. I promised myself to protect you if I found out you were still alive. I hope you could forgive me sis." I was still processing what just happened here. But knowing that I have a twin brother means I'm not alone in the world anymore. And he did say sorry, so he does care. I took a deep breath and walked up to Dream.
"I accept your apology. But promise me to not go overboard on the protection, please. I've lived this long without a brother." We both laughed.
"Ok, sis. I promise." I hugged him.
"Thanks… bro." He hugged me back but tightly. I hugged him tighter and before I knew it, it turned into a strength competition.
"Oh no, I forgot about mom. What am I going to do now? What would she think if I wanted to leave the cave to travel and go into tournaments for a while? I don't know what to say to her. If I leave she's probably going to be worried sick about me all the time." A lot was going through my Head like a storm, but it vanished when my twin put his hands on my shoulders and squeezed them to calm me down.
"Hey it's going to be ok. I might know of a way to keep you two from ripping your hair out. And scales… I guess. Just don't worry about it, I've got it covered. Trust me." I felt relieved by his words.
When we got out of the arena, we immediately got hit with a whole bunch of people asking questions.
"Is it true that a female player like yourself won in this tournament? If so, do you know who and where she is?"
"Mr. Dream, who is this player next to you?" Too many questions leads to too many problems. My anger got so big, I had to do something. So I made a noise I thought might work.
When I made the noise, everyone got quiet.
"One question at a time please. We can't do it all at once. Now for starters, I am the female pro player that won this tournament. And second, I'm Dream's twin sister. That'll be all for today. Goodbye. Come on, bro. Let's get outta here before they become conscious again." I grab my brother's hand and teleport to my place.
"What? How did you get us here so quickly?"
"I learned that trick from one of my masters. My mom and I sometimes go to different realms and since mom told everyone I was a dragon, I got to learn and play with what you guys call monsters."
"Wait a minute, you got to play with monsters? Like actually got to play tag with a zombie pigman? Without getting chased by them?"
"Yeppers! Having a dragon as your mom has some perks to it. I've also got to go to the End to play with the endermen, endermites, shulkers, and the Ender dragon's daughter, while mom caught up with her cousin and learned some cooking ideas with chorus fruit." Just then my stomach started to growl, which made me realize how long it was since I last ate. I gave a nervous laugh.
"Are you hungry? I still got some steak before the tournament started if you want some." He offered the steak. I hesitated for a moment before taking it.
"Thanks Dream. I need to get used to people now aren't I? Since they know I'm your sister, the media is going to ask questions about where I've been and how I survived for this long without anyone taking care of me. Man, I have to make up a story for them. Ugh, what a pain." Dream snickered.
"And here I am thinking that you were just ordinary. But you are full of surprises. What was that sound you made back there?"
"Oh, it was a kraken noise. Since I'm smaller than a kraken, no one's ears will bleed out. There's different tones to a kraken's noise. For example, I used a commanding tone to get everyone's attention." Dream looked at me with a glint in his eyes.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Is everything ok bro?" I put my hand on his forehead to see if he had a fever, but he grabbed my hand and pulled it down.
"Yeah, I'm ok. I just… you sounded pretty proud of yourself when you were explaining that stuff to me. You're full of surprises. I thought I'd never find you, but here we are back together again. I wish I found you sooner." I wanted to give him a hug, but I got a flashback of my past.
I was running in the forest. I was calling for help when I tripped over a tree root. I rolled over to see my pursuer and it was a dire wolf. My vision was blurring from the exhaustion when the wolf was walking towards me. I thought it was the end of me, but the last thing I saw was a boy, about the same age as me, giving me a golden mask, with a mask of his own on his face. Was it Dream and why was he there? Did he save me? I have so many questions.
"Daydream? You ok? " I snapped back into reality. Dream looked worried.
"Uh, yeah. I just… it's not important. So, back in the arena. You said the answer was on my face. Did you mean my mask? I got the mask from a boy years ago. He looked worried about something but I didn't know what it was. Maybe it was something on my face he didn't want others to see." Dream relaxed a little bit but I know he's still worried and he doesn't want to show it.
"Yeah, I gave you that mask cuz there was something up with your eyes at the time.  I didn't want the others to fear you as a freak." We sat there in silence for a while.
"What was wrong with my face?" I broke the silence and Dream looked at me with a face I didn't know.
"May I… take off your mask?" I hesitated for a moment. I never let anyone see my face and I never took off my mask for anyone. But, he's my brother, I should at least trust him. I nodded, cuz I didn't trust myself to say anything. Dream lifted his hand to my mask, grabbed it, and lift it up slowly. It felt weird letting someone take off my mask. I open my eyes to see Dream without my mask for the first time.
"Just as I thought. You're eyes are back to normal."
"Well, what did they look like before?" Dream hesitated.
"If I tell you, promise me to not freak out." Dream closed his eyes and opened them up again, but the white's of his eyes are black now. I was so surprised that when I stepped back, I tripped over my own foot. I don't know how but he grabbed my waist so I didn't hit the floor.
