The sun was setting, and the sky looked luminous as Onika gazed out the window. They arrived at a beautiful Mediterranean mansion. Onika immediately gasped, she had never seen a house like this in person. Forget the restaurant they had just gone to, this place was truly breathtaking. There were guards surrounding the big house not making any movement. Matías then led Onika inside the house.

The smell of citrus and spice filled Onika's nose as she looked around the house, she had realized Matías was a very opulent man. The house was huge, and how much Onika wanted to explore she was quickly guided upstairs with Matías to his room.

The room was big and had many tones of gray. Onika stood beside the king size bed as she watched Matías start undressing. She was scared of what to do or say next. She knew that she would have to be careful with her words when speaking to Matías. It was clear he didn't take disrespect lightly and Onika did not want to get hurt again.

"Undress." Matías suddenly said. Onika's heart dropped, fearing what was to come next. She decided to try and talk her way out of this.

"But-" Matías gave Onika a death warning glare before she could even finish. Not wanting to test him anymore. She got undressed, while tears ran down her face.

Matías then brought Onika in closer to him, not fazed by her tears. Onika's nipples ran cold across Matías' warm skin. She looked down, not wanting to make eye contact with him.

"What is wrong, hermosa." Breaking the silence between them, making Onika's eyebrows furrowed.

What is wrong?! She thought in her head.

She began to get angry but still held her tongue. She doesn't remember her doing anything so horrible that her karma would be ending up with someone so evil.

"Matías please let me go home." Onika begged. "I promise I won't s-say a word to anyone about anything."

"You telling anyone about anything won't do me harm Onika." He stated. "But you can try."

"Please let me go home." Tears began to fall once again from Onika's face as her voice cracked against her words. Matías caressed Onika's face, wiping away her tears from her swollen eyes. Matías had not responded back to Onika's request which did not ease her worries at all.

Matías then led Onika to the bathroom with a bath already filled with bubbles. Matías told Onika to get in, which she hesitantly did as she tried to keep her eyes on Matías to make sure he wasn't doing a funny business.
Right after Matias joined the steaming water filled tub, sitting behind Onika.

Onika sat stuck as she felt Matías' manhood on her behind. Onika could tell he was nothing little, there was no way he was ever putting that thing in her ever, she thought.

The vanilla scented bath somehow started to become relaxing, as Onika's body got less tense on Matías. Soon enough she tried fighting the sleep that came over her eyes and the next thing she remembers was seeing Matías carrying her out the bathroom back to his room, laying her on the bed. Onika, too tired to speak, drifted off to sleep when she felt his muscular arms wrap around her, letting her know he was indeed still there.

Onika sat in the emergency room with only worry plastered upon her face. She sat with her grandma, who Onika kept asking if she was okay or if she needed anything. This morning Onika came home to find her grandmother throwing up blood. Her grandma tried reassuring her everything was fine but Onika still felt like something was wrong. Onika had a thought of what could be wrong with her grandmother but she didn't want that thought to be true so as hard she could she tried to push that thought to the back of her head.

The handle on the door clicked and finally the wait was over as the doctor came in. Onika's grandmother sighed in distress seeing the doctor coming in with the results.

"Hello, I'm Dr.Ruelas." The latina lady greeted them.
"I see we are here today to talk about Mrs.Clarkson's diagnosis."

Onika nodded her head as the doctor went over the results.

"Well since Mrs.Clarkson refuses to not take the chemotherapy treatment that we had offered then I'm afraid there is not a lot we can do." The doctor spoke.

"Wait- huh what diagnosis?" Onika asked, confused. Not aware of what was going on.

"Mrs.Clarkson, have you not told your granddaughter?" Onika's grandmother simply shook her head no.

The doctor looked a little surprised and confused from the grandmother's reply.

"I'm sorry to tell you like this Ms.Maraj but you are the legal caretaker of your grandmother now." The doctor explained.

"Your grandmother has stage four gastric cancer."

Onika sat stunned, and remained quiet for a little.

"What." She suddenly said,

"The cancer has been growing causing it to spread to the esophagus, that's why she has been throwing up blood." The doctor continued. "Soon it shall spread to the rest of the body and take over."

Onika looked at her grandmother with anger, sadness, and confusion by why her grandmother would not let her know about her health issues.

"Doctor, could you please give us a moment." Onika's grandmother spoke. The doctor simply nodded and exited the room.

"Onika, baby I understand how this all looks but I promise it was only with good intentions."

"How grandma, you are the only one I have right now and you not telling me about this doesn't help this situation at all." Onika's voice broke as she spoke, her heart hurt not because her grandma didn't tell her but because her worst fear was coming true, she would have no one.

"I know but you are young and you are starting your life, I don't want you worrying about me. I'm gonna be okay, Onika." Her grandmother reassured not to be worried that her life was at risk.

"How can you just say that and leave me here. Are you not scared of dying? You won't even try to put up a fight grandma! Please grandma, I need you, please don't leave me here." Onika's voice got a little louder from all the emotions she was going through. She did not understand her grandma's point of view at all.

"You don't need me, I taught you well and I know you won't fail. I know you will find a great husband who provides all your wants and needs and gives you a great life, now I would love to be here to see all of that but Onika when it's my time to go then it's my time. All you need is the Lord and savior himself, and I promise you will have more than desired." The grandma wiped away Onika's tears.

"And I'm not leaving you, I will always be here. Onika don't be scared of death, it is not a bad thing. For it's just the next level after life and we are all promised it." Onika's grandma finished off.

Even though Onika didn't understand all what her grandma was saying now, a part of her still hoped one day she could understand and not fear the face of death.
