Flight or Fight

Chapter 8

  When I woke up, he wasn't next to me anymore. I started to look around, but he wasn't in the room. I decided to go search for him. The shower can wait, but then a thought hit me. I can't go dressed like this, after all I'm the King's mate. How could I go dressed looking worse than a homeless man?

I didn't wait a minute longer, and I jump in the shower. After I finished, I dressed up and I went to look for him. But before I went out on the door, I mind liked him with my big Question Where he is. I didn't even had to wait long cause he responded with I'm in the garden.

So I didn't even ask with who he was, what he was doing there, and it was a big STUPID think.

How I was walking in the hallway, I noticed that every subordinate of his would bow as soon as they see me.

 Honestly it was weird seeing this, but at the same time I loved it. I felt like a princess. Wait... Not a princess, more like a QUEEN. Queen Elena Lightfoot. How nice it sounds. I love it.

How I was lost in my pinky happy thoughts, I didn't even notice when I arrived outside in the garden. And honestly it was beautiful. It was so big, full of trees, and flowers. It looked lovely. It was such a beautiful Image that it took my breath away.

In front of me it was Damian with some guy next to him. It just left me speechless, seeing who was here. It was Dimitri. "You? Here?" I said surprised.

Dimitri looked at Damian and after came in front of me. I could tell that Damian hated seeing other men, to be so close to me. But I liked to annoy him, that's for sure.

"As you can see, so." He said with a little smile on his face. Damian came next to me, and said "How I said. She is mine, so I would appreciate it if you wouldn't go after what's mine. Thank you." Me hearing this, I didn't know how to react to it. I mean, I would've love to make jokes about it, and annoy him, but it was sweet, and I liked it. I was looking at him like a child at a candy.

Dimitri seeing that love is in the air, he looked annoyed for some reason. He didn't waited any longer and said "We should go, my father arrived. He is waiting us inside in the meeting room." He turned around and went a few steps, he stopped, looked at us and said, "Don't worry Damian, We are just friends... Good friends." And with that he left inside.

Yeah sure, friends... We barely know each other and he's coming up saying we are friends. He is for real now?

But I was pulled outfrom my thoughts by Damian. I could tell he was so annoyed by him. "Yeah,sure. Friends! And I'm mundane...." He said and aftercontinued "I don't want to see you close to him. You understand?" I looked at him a bit shocked. He is serious? He just told me what to do and what not?

"You said what now?" I asked with an angry expression, while when he looked at me and realized what he did, he didn't know what to say. "I'm listening" I said while he was trying to form a sentence. "Well... Uhm... You know... Like... No... So-"I didn't even let him to finish the sentence cause I cut him off, and I continued "Let's just go. They are waiting for you or should I say us?" And I started walking in the front. He started coming after me, and he started shouting after me "I wasn't jealous. I mean It wasn't jealousy. I was just protecting you. You know? For real... "I couldn't help but laugh, but obviously he heard it and in a few seconds he was in front of me and he pushed me against the wall. He was so close to me, that I could almost feel his lips on mine. In this moment he was driving me crazy. I couldn't concentrate on anything. Now it didn't even mater that people were waiting us. What mattered now is him and me, and his soft lips on mine.
