Flight or Fight

Chapter 16

"Well... How to say this..." The doctor said and after a few minutes of thinking he added "You know as well that people when they came out from there alive, they went crazy, and died. I mean, let's be honest here. We didn't had that many cases, and plus we couldn't even noticed them because they died in 3 days." The doctor wanted to continue but Damian stopped him and asked him "What are you trying to say, doctor?"

The doctor looked at him and said, "What I'm trying to say is that this the first time that happened something like this. They didn't go crazy, and they even have similar symptoms. It's weird. But I would like to observe them for a few days more, if that's okay."

Dimitri and Liam looked at each other and for a few minutes it was death silence in the room. I knew they were speaking telepathically so that the doctor and the others to not hear what they say. In a way it was frustrating because I really wanted to know about it, but I knew that later on if I would ask him he will tell me.

The doctor noticed it that Damian didn't say anything and he just started speaking again, "So... Is it a yes or... No?"

I looked at Dimitri and we knew what we must do. We knew that it would be too hard for this 2 to agree on something like this, so me and Dimitri said that we agree on. Damian and Liam started to disagree quickly, but I just stopped them and said "If it will help understand that damn forest better, than I agree on everything." Damian looked at me and mind linked me and started scolding me "Are you out of your mind?"

"No! But I know you want to know more about that stupid forest and now that I was inside, I want to know more too." I said and I looked at him really serious.

He just said that we will talk about it later, and I agreed. He knew how stubborn I can be, and when I want something, I will have it for sure.

"One of the maids will escort everyone to your rooms and she will let you know when we will have lunch." Damian said.

After 2 minutes the maids came and took everyone in their rooms, remaining in the room just me and Damian.

Seeing that it's just the 2 of us here, I fell back in the bed, and I started saying "You know I don't mind usually to be between people but this time they were to many here. I think I'm becoming really introvert. Maybe it's a side effect as well..."

Laughing he said "You?? Introvert??" He was laughing even more and after a few seconds said, "Sometimes there are cases when I wish you would be introvert but unfortunately you are not."

I lifted my head a bit and looked at him with an angry face and I said, "Are you teasing me now?"

In a few seconds he was on top of me, and he was so close to me that I could feel his breath.

"And if I say yes, what will you do?" He asked me.

I wanted to answer him back, but I couldn't because in the next second his lips were touching mine. In the next second we were already naked. How fast he was I wasn't surprised that in a second he take his clothes and mine down.
