As we lay here side by side, gazing up at the sky,
The stars above us shining bright, we let out a contented sigh,
Wrapped in each other's arms, we feel safe and warm,
The beauty of the heavens above, a perfect romantic charm.
We point out the constellations, tracing them with our fingers,
Feeling the magic in the air, our love a feeling that lingers,
The Big Dipper, Orion, and Cassiopeia,
Each one a reminder of the love that we share.
We talk of the universe, the beauty that lies beyond,
Of the mysteries and secrets, the things that we are fond,
We lose ourselves in conversation, as we stare up at the sky,
The world around us fades away, as our love takes flight.
As we look up at the stars, we make a wish upon a shooting star,
That our love will stay forever, no matter where we are,
That the magic of this moment, this time we share,
Will stay with us always, a memory we'll never tear.
And as the night draws to a close, and the stars start to fade,
We hold each other close, our love an unbreakable braid,
For the stars above us may twinkle and shine,
But our love, our connection, is a love that will always entwine.
