me and leo took the elevator since we're bored of using the stairs. my legs get tired from walking up those stairs for so long.
me and leo were about to get out of the elevator as we saw perry. "dooley! other dooley! what are you doing in my elevator?" she shouted at us as she made her way over.
leo was dancing to the music so it scared him when she yelled. "we're enjoying the music. today is 'love songs from the nineties.' wanna dance?" leo suggested at her.
perry scoffed at leo's answer. "use the stairs! this is exactly how healthy kids become unhealthy adults." perry said. me and leo side eyed each other and then looked perry up and down.
i opened my mouth slightly. "really?" i said. i can't believe she's trying to go there.
leo then looked back at me. "are we having this conversation?" he asked her as i laughed a little.
perry looked offended as she tried to find words. "for your information i'm a speed walker. perhaps you've seen me at the mission creek mall giving the shoppers a little eye candy?" perry said. me and leo gagged at the same time as she said that.
she then walked off into the middle of the lobby. "listen up, space fillers! this is emergency preparedness week. an emergency drill can happen at any time. so when the alarm sounds, you must evacuate the building in an orderly fashion—like cattle, if cattle had acne...and braces...and a future filling up gas tank." perry laughed as she looked at some people when she said those harsh words.
me and leo walked over to the three siblings. "oh, man! i wish i had bree's super speed!" he complained. "because you do not want to be stuck walking behind cows in an emergency, trust me on that." adam said as he pointed at chase. "ohh." he sighed.
chase then spoke up looking at me then back at adam. "you would trade your super strength for super speed?" chase gave him a look. "man, if i had your strength, i'd just run out of the building juggling those cows." chase motioned his hands in the air as if he was juggling.
bree laughed a little as she looked at chase. "yeah, and if i had your super intelligence i would've left this conversation 30 seconds ago." bree said as adam nodded his head in agreement.
leo then had that look on his face that told me he had an idea. "hey, you know what would be awesome? if you guys took out your bionic chips and switched your abilities." leo suggested to them.
i then has wide eyes. "no, no, no, leo, why would you give them that idea?!" i scolded him as chase and them had another look on their faces.
"why can't we?" chase turned to his three siblings.
"i call your super smarts!" bree pointed at chase. "i call your super speed!" adam pointed at bree. "i call your super strength!" chase pointed at adam.
leo raised his hand slightly. "i call good looks and charisma. oh, too late. already got em." leo said. we all gave him weird looks.
"look guys, this is so gonna blow up your guys' faces and i'll be there to say 'i told you so.'" i smiled and walked off with them behind me.
