chase and i were cuddled up in my room, watching a movie. we haven't really had time to hang out as much since adam, bree, leo, and davenport have all asked to hang out with me for different reasons.
"today is great." i sighed in awe. i was happy being with chase. i didn't know where i'd be if chase and i weren't together.
"yeah, yeah, it is. laying here in this bed with you, i ain't convinced. i don't know how. i don't know how. heaven. heaven. could be better than this." chase sang a small melody of a song.
i laughed lightly, "did you—did you just sing a part of a country song?" i laughed more in disbelief.
"did you like it?"
"i loved it."
i kissed him on the cheek but he moved my face making me kiss him on the lips. we grabbed my waist, bringing me closer to him.
"chase!" i heard leo run into my room. "ew! gross! i did not need to see my best friend and brother kissing each other." leo covered his eyes in disgust.
"cock blocker." i mumbled under my breath. i didn't think chase would hear him but clearly he did. he laughed at me slightly.
"anyways, i need to borrow chase. so, pause the movie. you two can finish whatever this was later." leo grabbed chase dragging him out of my room.
a few minutes later bree walked in with clothes in her hand. "so, these are some clothes that don't fit me and since your a smaller size than me i was wondering if you wanted them?" she def them on my bed and turned on the lights to let me see better.
"sure. i needed some new clothes anyways. this is so cool! this is basically like hand me downs. i've grown up with leo my whole life—no siblings so i never got to have something like this." i laughed awkwardly, rubbing my neck.
"well, this will be the first. oh! we should go out shopping today." she clapped her hands in excitement.
"but...chase and i—"
"forget what you and chase were going to do. we're going shopping. get dressed. meet me in the living room in fifteen."
she didn't give me a option to where i could go or not so i guess i had to.
i got ready and walked down the stairs. i came in contact with adam first. "don't you remember today is the finale of our show? bree just informed me that you two are going shopping."
"oh! i'm so sorry, adam. she's not giving me a choice and i totally forgot. if i could cancel i would! " i tried to comfort him from his hurt. adam and i were really close. he was like a brother to me.
chase came into view next, walking up next to adam. "why did i just hear bree talking to tasha saying you two were going shopping? we have to finish our movie." chase pouted.
"sorry, boys but today is a girls day. guess you two will have to schedule hanging out with her. we have cheer practice later." bree came strutting into the living room.
"wait...we're not on the team."
"that's why we're practicing to try out. look, i know you don't like doing cheer anymore but please do it. for me?" she always knew a way to make me cave.
i sighed, "fine. i'll do it." i rubbed my eyes.
"yay! okay, let's go. bye, boys." we left them standing at the counter in disbelief.
after we were done shopping we went home to cheer a bit.
"ready! okay!" i exclaimed, moving my pom poms in the air next to bree.
"we're dynmaite! we're dynamite! we're tick tick tick tick boom!" bree and i chanted doing our stunts simultaneously.
i did a little cartwheel as bree did a front flip. "dynamite! we're boom! dynamite! whoo! boom! boom!" bree and i started to stop our cheering when adam came running into the room, stopping at my side.
"cadence, bree. you scared me! i thought you both blew up!" adam panted.
"no, we were practicing our cheer stunts together, adam." i reinformed him, trying to make him remember our earlier comment on how bree and i were going to practice our cheer.
"oh, you mean...tick tick tick tick boom! we're dynamite! we're boom! also, what is boom dynamite?" adam stopped reinacting our earlier stunts. "i'm all excited and j don't even know what it is!" adam exclaimed.
"adam, that's the beauty of cheerleading." bree shrugged. i could tell she was already annoyed by her older brother. "you don't have to think." she waved her arms around.
"then it's perfect for me!" adam exclaimed, high fiving me.
"yeah! way to go!" i was happy that adam found a new thing but clearly bree wasn't.
"i can not wait for tryouts." adam said walking over to the counter.
"no! you're trying out?" bree said in disbelief.
"duh, you just saw my mad tick boom pow skills. plus, cadence is on board. isn't that right?" adam pointed at me.
"no, she isn't. she's on my side. right, cadence?" bree turned to me, looking for an answer.
"okay, don't put me in a predicament like this. let adam do what he likes. and if you don't like it then fine. but clearly he found something that he likes so i say let him do it. he can practice with us. can't he?" i asked bree, giving her the puppy dog eyes.
"that's our thing though." she complained to me, pouting.
"well, let it be his thing to then. let him try it out and if he doesn't like it then fine." i shrugged my shoulders.
"okay, fine." she finally gave him. adam and j high fived each other. "okay, well, i'm going to take a shower and then go to sleep. good night and i don't want to know what chase and leo are doing for that basketball thing." i walked up the stairs leaving bree and adam downstairs to practice.
after i was done taking a shower. i dried off and put my pj's on, getting ready for bed.
i washed my face, did my nightly routine and got in bed.
i soon fell asleep within ten minutes since today was a long day.
