2 Weeks Later
Aug 31The takeover had taken longer than expected, in fact Dom and the twins had decided to skip school these past weeks to get it done faster. Between the 2 other small gangs of 4 they encounter there were still 4 bigs ones that ran the corners of the district.
They each had 7 members in them and if the three didn't have the Legions help they've had died by now. While all this was going on, Daruma was quickly making a name for itself, not only for the reason of uniting the lawless Narrows. But because of the gruesome killings and bodies left behind.
Most were committed by the Legion but gradually Dom had began to give into his impulses and acting out what he imagined in his mind. This led to stories and rumors spreading around the district about a new player rivaling even the Joker when he first made the scene.
On an hill that overlooked ChinaTown, an staircase led up through the forest all the way to an Japanese styled shrine. Red Torri sprouted from the ground forming a pathway under leading to a small building, inside Dom and the Tona twins sat on pillows in a circle.
He'd just asked the two if he could leave growing their scrappy group into an organization while he tended to his own devices. In reality the twins were the only ones he'd trust to get it done. The first one of the two to speak up was Daytona. "Why not make it a competition?
Once a month we'll meet here and mark how much we've earned, by say Thanksgiving we total it and the winner picks what we do next."
The idea did interest the other two, in fact it kinda got them excited, they decided to start tomorrow and said their pieces. Most likely they wouldn't see each other outside of the main safe house.
Speaking of, the safe house was an make shift chop shop the final gang taken over was barely able to keep up and running. It was a two story building, the downstairs portion being the dissemble and storage area for cars while upstairs was more of an office/lounge area for members.
The next day Dom sat at a circular table in Blackgates meeting room. He'd finally got around to visiting his dad and was waiting on the guards to bring him. Soon Pierce was brought out and sat in front of his son. He looked him over before giving an smile." My pride and joy."
As Dom talked more with his dad about the night and what'd he been doing these past two weeks it looked as if he was getting more and more pissed off.
"So you're telling me, you've been skipping school to play build a gang?" Out of everything that he heard the one thing Pierce cared about was this. " Listen, I don't give a damn what you do as long as you graduate, comprende?"
The teen didn't really like the condition. As soon as he got these powers he'd decided school could go to hell, it wasn't needed anymore. Reluctantly he agreed grumbling an okay. Both talked for a little while longer until it was time for him to go.
Later he was driving through Otisburg making his way to the chop shop, if he wanted do anything truly big in the city he'd have to make sure his minions had everything they'd need. Most likely it'd be his first encounter with Batman and it's a sweet window of time where crime could be committed without worrying about the dark knight.
As he was crossing an interstate, vine like roots suddenly sprouted from the ground up, ramming into the Impalas passenger door pinning it against a building.
But Dom wasn't inside, just as the car was blindsided he thought of being somewhere else and ended up on the roof of the building instead. Quickly he stood and looked around trying to regain his bearings. He eventually spotted Poison Ivy fighting Batman over some sorta chemicals a blocks away.
