At a taco truck Dom and Billy stood behind his car with their food on the trunk, they'd agreed on tacos for lunch and had just gotten their order and was eating while making small talk.

Most of it was about school with the younger teen sneaking a little in about his home situation and where he's at with his dad, not so good if one was wondering.

Verbal abuse wasn't uncommon when his father got home, high off his ass after a day at work. And recently it look liked it was gonna get violent between them if it wasn't for the landlord knocking about the noise.

In fact, yesterday he went without something to eat for the whole day, usually Billy would get eats with Barbara but she was apparently busy with something else so he just starved in silence.

"Listen, the next time he tries to hit you. Throw a brick at his ass." Dom answered taking a bite of his food and drinking tea. To him the answer was simple but what he didn't know was defending himself wasn't the issue, money was.

"That's not a problem, I just don't have money to get something to eat with." He balled his paper up and went to throw it away while the other teen seemed to be in thought.

By the time Billy got back to the car he was already inside finishing up his last taco with a expression that said he had the perfect idea." You say you're tired of being broke huh?"

The boy nodded in return which prompted Dom to further explain." Listen, I'm gonna drop you off at a apartment in the Narrows, go to the door and say the King sent you.

They're gonna give you a book bag, don't look inside it. From then on you've got about a hour and a half to get it to a Clue shop in Otisburg,

Hand the bag to the cashier and he'll hand you another, don't look in that one either. You've got to get that bag all the way back to the chop shop where I'll be waiting, simple right?"

Billy nodded and silently went over the steps while Dom continued the drive back to the Narrows. After dropping him off he decided to head to the chop shop to finish some work on his Charger.

The V8 he ordered had finally come in so it was time to do a engine swap with that, and while he was at it he decided to paint the whole bay red. Then it was time to add the turbo charger and replace the ECU, exhaust headers, cooling system and suspension to give it a little extra boost on the street.

While in the middle of doing so lightning could be heard striking nearby.

"Not now Lord, I'm not ready." He looked around the shop thinking God had decided to take him out the world since it was clear as day outside.

Instead he found Billy walking through the garage doors with a bag around his shoulder 45 minutes earlier than expected. "Done."

Dom took the held out bag and look in it suspiciously thinking something was missing but 5 grand was indeed inside signaling the job was done. With a nod of satisfaction he passed it off to one of the members who took it upstairs and dug in his pocket counting out 10 one hundred dollar bills and handed it off to the transporter.

Billy looked at the money with wide eyes not expecting to make a grand from delivering two book bags." Are you sure?"

He thought it was some type of mistake, no way was it that easy, sure his powers made it go smoothly but still.

"You can give it back if you don't want it." Dom responded from under the hood of his car not seeing the issue. It was ample enough payment for moving product that could've gotten him locked up for at least a year.
