Babies Crying The Kiss and Why is he Here?

Lexi's P.O.V.

"So what did he say?"Harry asked as me Jess Aggie Zayn and Harry sat in the lounge spread out. I sighed and stared at the ceiling lying on the sofa.

"Nothing really he kinda hung up straight away. I asked him to come back for the twins but he just said he had to go but I could tell he was lying." I explained to them.

"When are Liam and Louis getting here?" Aggie asked changing the subject for me. Zayn and Harry both shrugged and just on cue Louis came in.

"Hey, Liam'll be here soon." Louis informed us plonking himself next to me where Zayn would usually sit. Let's just say since this afternoon it's been kind of awkward and we haven't been able to speak alone. Aggie had noticed our awkwardness and thrown me a few questioning looks that I've just shaken off.

"Why? Where i-" I was cut off by the baby moniter going off with one of the twins crying. I sighed and dragged myself up. I hate it when the cry but they always seem to be awake when I want them asleep and asleep if I don't mind if they're awake. Plus if one of them cries it sets the other off.

"I'll come." Zayn said jumping up from where he was sitting and following me upstairs.

As we got into the room I picked up Andy as Zayn picked up James. We walked around bouncing them gently in our arms and Zayn began to sing gently.

Everything starts from something but something would be nothing, nothing if your heart didn't dream with me. Where would I be if you didn't believe .

Justin Bieber? Who'd have known. I smiled as he sang the song from that chorus gently lulling both James and Andy to sleep. After about half an hour they were sound asleep and we put them gently down in the crib.

"Thanks." I smiled to him walking to the door.

"Lexi? We can't just leave it y'know." Zayn sighed sitting on my bed. I hesitated before reluctantly going and sitting next to him. I half looked at the ground before meeting his gaze.

"What is there to say about it?" I asked him. I had expected him to speak but he just sat there.This was one of the first times ever I had felt uncomfortable with Zayn.

"Say something?" I pleaded him. He just looked up at me. He shrugged obviously thinking hard about what he was going to say. The silence between us was unbearable though so I began to speak preparing tomake it up as I went along.

"Zayn look, wha-"

"Kiss me." he inturrupted me. I almost choked.

"What?" I asked.

"Just once. Lexi I'm telling you now, since I met you I've liked you and everytime I'm with you all I want to do is kiss you and I can't believe Niall is being so stupid and thro-"

I cut him off bringing my lips to his gently. I don't know why. Maybe it was just a way to shut him up but the strange thing was I liked it.

He began to deepen the kiss no longer being gentle with me. He was licking my bottom lip and biting gently on it. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his around my waist. I bit his lip and let his tounge enter my mouth before realizing what I was doing and pulled back.

We looked at each other holding eye contact. Why had I done that?

"Sorry." I said breathing heavily.

"Thanks." he smirked, breathing just as heavily. I shook my head and half smiled.

"So what do we do now?" I asked. He opened his mouth to reply but never got to.

"Lexi, someone is down stairs for you." Louis said standing in the doorway. He had only just opened the door and I'm pretty sure he hadn't seen anything.

"Who?" I asked my mind buzing from what had just happened. Louis just shrugged and did a half smile. I gave him a questioning look before me and Zayn followed Louis down stairs.

When we got into the lounge I saw someone I didn't expect  to see. Liam satnding there. I figured out  where he'd been and why he was a bit late. He'd been to the airport. To pick up Niall.

"Hi." I stuttered out to him. Why was Niall here?

A/N Yes it's short but I'm starting to do quality rather then quantity do you guys mind that the chapters are short? And
