Stuttering, Confusion and a Field Again, Really?

Lexi's P.O.V.

"Hi." Niall replied shakily. Everyone sat awkwardly watching us.

"C'mon Jess we've got a table booked." Harry made an excuse to get out. Once he had said that everyone decided they wanted to go on Jess and Harry's date too. They all left just before Zayn went he hugged me and whispered.

" I love you." I felt instantly sick then because I knew he meant it. What am I meant to do? I just kissed Zayn and then Niall goes and turns up. Zayn then followed the rest of the guys out.

"Hi." Niall repeated standing in the same spot awkwardly.

"You've already said that." I half laughed trying to break the tension although I knew it wouldn't work. I sighed as silence took over the room again. I gave up and sat on the sofa and pulled my phone out. Until he decides to grow a pair and talk to me I will sit and play on my phone.

I felt him sit down next to me, he didn't say anything for a while he just sat next to me.

"Sorry." he whispered.

"Sure, whatever." I spat not even looking at him. Silence fell between us again and other then the sounds coming from my phone.

"If I asked you to come with me somewhere would you?" he asked nervously.

"In case you didn't know funnily enough Niall I can't, I have two kids to look after." I said angrily to him. He looked at me and we met each others eyes.

"Bring them." he stated, I huffed but walked upstairs with Niall on my heel, he helped me get the twins ready to go out and helped me put them in the carries. We walked to the car in silence and strapped them in the back seat of his land rover and us to climbed in the front seats.

"Where are you taking us?" I asked him grumpily. Yes I am going to act like a child until I forgive him IF I forgive him.

"Somewhere." he shrugged. I almost laughed at his response, I didn't though. I didn't because he's a giant jerk and idiot.

"Where?" I asked again.

"Just somewhere." he replied he glimpsed at me giving me a half smile before looking back to the road. I looked to the back seat finding both of the twins flat out asleep. Great so I don't even have an excuse like 'the twins are crying and need to go home to get their bottle' if I decide I want to go home.

I faced forward again and crossed my arms over my chest annoyed with Niall for not telling me where we were going. We drove for a couple of hours.

"Okay Niall, where are we going it's been like 2 hours." I said getting worried now. I pulled out my phone to check the time and saw I had a text from Zayn.

I laughed and text him back to shut up and focused back on what was going on in the car. It had stopped. In a field.

"What is it with you and fields?" I asked him climbing out and going round to lift Andy out as Niall took James.

"I dunno." he answered shrugging. We walked, just walked not saying anything. I was still angry at him. It was pitch black but lit up by the starts and moonlight and Candles?

"Niall what?" I asked he smiled and sat down on the blanket he had set up with candles and food and some extra blankets for the twins and of course his guitar. I sat down next to him placing Andy down next to James and folded some covers over them.

"Lexi, I-"

"Niall I don't want a huge speech, just don't." I told him shaking my head. He sighed and ignored my comment before carrying on.

"Lexi, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I could say that a million times and would understand if you didn't forgive me. I'm not going to say it a million times, running away from this," he gestured to the twins " is unforgivable and my only excuse is I'm a 20 year old guy and I was scared, but I realized how stupid it was to run and leave you so I came back and I'm prepared to look after our kids and..." he trailed off.

"So you ran off because you were scared?" I asked.

"Yeah." he nodded shamefully.

"Niall you left me, I was terrified. I'm a 20 year old kid too you know." I told him with strain in my voice.

"And what?" I stopped myself from ranting realising he had said and on the end. He was prepared to look after our kids and?

"And, I- I wondered if-if you would-would give me a second chance?" he almost whispered as he stuttered over his words.

"I don't know." I said plainly with out thinking about it.

"Oh right I understand." he said looking around awkwardly.

"It's not I don't want to, I'm not saying I do or don't want to but I have to talk to someone else first." I explained to him.

"Who?" his head snapped up to me. Oh crap.

"Um Zayn."

A/N Wow so a quick update? That's strange for me!!! So what do you think of it so far? And I'm not going to beg or anything but...

GO AND READ THE LAST CONCERT OR I WILL CRY AND SIT HOME AND EAT BEN AND JERRY'S ICE CREAM FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!
