MAYBELL SULLY has always been closed with her dad so she was devastated when he died. After he died, she was taken in the care of her Uncle Jake. Her mom had died at childbirth and so Jake was the next option of being her legal guardian. She had a close bond with Jake as well and she was relieved he would look after her. She had feared that she would be sent to an orphanage or foster homes, but Jake was determined on not letting that happen to her.

Maybell always dreamt of going to Pandora ever since she heard about it. So she was very happy and intrigued to find out that she would be able to go with her uncle to Pandora. She never expected to make friends with the Na'vi or let alone meet another human her age and become best friends with him. And when she realized she was falling in love with him? Let's just say she was shocked.

Tessa had always been taken care of her older sister Trudy. They had a close bond and always looked out for each other. When Trudy said she would be going to Pandora with her she was ecstatic. She found Pandora to be beautiful and thought it seemed to be like paradise. She easily got along with the Na'vi there, having the closest bond with the oldest son of the Sully family. While Maybell's and Spider's love story has a happy ending, it might not be set in the stars for oc and Neteyam for them to have their happily ever after but they're sure gonna try their hardest to make it happen.
