You flip around in his arms and wrap yourself around him like a koala. As he starts to wake up, you begin to kiss his limp lips until he's kissing you back. The hot morning breath was thick in the air and you felt a poke against your thigh. You could ignore it but the way he's kissing you and the intense intimate feeling led you to straddle his morning wood, rocking your hips slowly against it.
"Mmm...what are you doing?" He moans, taken aback.
"I don't know but it feels good," you whisper against his lips. The only thing in the way of losing your virginity right there was his boxers and the thin fabric of your panties, which were becoming soaked with each hitch of your hips.
"Are you trying...is it time? Do you want.. " he questions, having a hard time forming the real question he wants to ask.
You stop as you have a moment of clarity. As intimate and special as waking up next to this beautiful human is, this isn't how you pictured it. You wanted it to be meaningful and with someone you could fully commit yourself to. You needed to fight off the urge and slow yourself down.
"No... I'm sorry. I don't know why..."
"It's okay," he kisses your forehead. "I just don't want you to regret it and I don't want you to resent me."
You nuzzle into his collarbone. "I don't deserve you."
He looks over at the time and realizes how late it is. "Oh shit. You need to go. Don't you need to get to the airport?"
You look at the clock and jump out of bed. You had to be at the airport in less than an hour. You quickly get dressed and hop in his van. You're lucky he drives like a maniac already. Before he leaves, you take a moment to give him a kiss that will last both of you until you get back.
The minute you walked through the door, the phone rang and you quickly answer. "Hello?"
"Hello, stranger."
"Oh hi, Steve! Sorry, I'm in a bit of a rush. I have to be at the airport..."
"I know, I know. I've called a few times waiting for you to get home. Just wanted to talk to you before you go."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. Wanted to tell you that I'll miss you and have a safe flight."
You have a giddy smile on your face. "I'll miss you too, Steve."
You arrive in sunny, warm California and are greeted by your mom. As she drives you to your childhood home, she starts asking about your life.
"How's school? Keeping those grades up?" She asks.
"I think so. School is definitely different in Hawkins, tougher than I imagined. But I think it should be enough to keep me out of your hair," you joke.
She looks at you with a sarcastic evil eye. "Got a job?"
"No but I really need one. Running out of my allowance and I don't want to rely on Brenda or the money you send me. There's a video rental store that I'm thinking of applying to."
"Wow... it's like you're becoming mature or something," she laughs. You could see the hint of pride in her face. "Any boys?"
"Um...yeah. I've been on a few dates, I'm seeing a couple guys at the moment."
She chuckles, thinking you're making a joke.
"No really, mom. I've been seeing this guy, Steve, since the summer and then I started seeing Eddie around the beginning of the school year."
"Oh seriously? How does that work? Is it a secret? You're not stringing them along, are you?"
"No no. I've been really open with both of them. I haven't committed to either of them. I'm just trying to play the fields. I've been on other dates with other people but these two...I like them both a lot but I feel like I need to choose one or the other."
