"The Accidental Halfling"

Prologue:

Lucile had always been a skeptic. She didn't believe in magic, or fate, or destiny. She thought the idea of being whisked away to a fictional world was ridiculous, the stuff of fantasy novels and children's stories.

But that was before the incident. It happened one day while she was trying to get dressed, her skinny jeans proving to be particularly difficult to wriggle into. In her haste, she tripped on her pant leg and fell backwards, tumbling through the air until she hit the ground with a thud.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself surrounded by a group of small, furry-footed creatures with wide eyes and curious expressions. At first, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. It was like something out of a movie, a dream come to life.

But as she began to interact with the creatures - hobbits, she learned they were called - she realized that this was no dream. She had somehow fallen through a portal and landed in a fictional world, one that she had only ever read about in books.

As she looked around at the hobbits, she couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder. She had always been a daydreamer, imagining herself in the worlds of her favorite books and movies. But she never thought it would actually happen to her.
Now, as she stood there in the shire, surrounded by hobbits and their quaint little homes, she couldn't help but wonder what other surprises this new world had in store for her.
