Lucile , the Fellowship
and Unwanted companions.Next day, Lucile woke up to a gentle knocking on her door. She rubbed her eyes and made her way to the door, half-expecting it to be another bizarre Middle-earth creature. But instead, she found a familiar face - it was Arwen, the elven princess whom she had seen in the movies.
"Good morning, Lady Lucile," Arwen said with a serene smile. "My father has sent me a message inviting you to attend the council of Elrond. He wishes to discuss the matter of the One Ring."
Lucile blinked, feeling both flattered and confused. "Me?" she asked, pointing at herself.
"Yes, you," Arwen confirmed, still smiling softly. "You possess knowledge and insights that could prove valuable in this council."
Lucile hesitated for a moment, feeling overwhelmed by the gravity of the situation. "I... I'm not sure if I'm the right person for this," she stammered. "I mean, I don't know much about Middle-earth or the Ring..."
"But you know about the world outside of it," Arwen said, stepping closer to Lucile. "You have seen beyond this realm, and that is a rare gift. Please, come with me. My father wishes to meet you."
Lucile nodded, feeling a mix of curiosity and anxiety. "Alright, I'll come," she said, following Arwen out of her room.
Lucile and the Fellowship
As Arwen led Lucile to the council, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. She was about to meet some of the most important figures in Middle-earth and discuss the fate of the world.
As they arrived, she noticed the hobbits gazing at her with admiration, which made her smile. She was just about to take her seat when Boromir made his sexist comment. Lucile was having none of it and immediately spoke up, "Excuse me, what did you just say? Women have just as much of a right to be here as men do. We are all equal in this council."
Boromir looked taken aback and slightly embarrassed, but Lucile didn't care. She took her seat, trying to shake off the confrontation. That's when she noticed Legolas sitting across from her. She had seen him before in the movies and had always thought he was attractive, but she didn't let herself dwell on it too much.
As the council progressed, Lucile found herself drawn to the elven culture and way of life. She even struck up a conversation with one of the other elves, who introduced himself as Haldir. They talked about everything from the beauty of the forest to the intricacies of elven magic.
Meanwhile, Legolas kept stealing glances at Lucile. He had never met someone quite like her before - so confident and unafraid to speak her mind. He was intrigued.
As the council came to an end, Lucile was relieved to be able to step away from the intense discussion. But she couldn't shake the feeling that something was stirring between her and Legolas. However, she was completely oblivious to any romantic feelings from anyone else, including Gimli and Boromir.
