Methodical Chaos Act II

    Kailani Moon appears on a screen. "Goodmorning, people of the Moon Kingdom and the world. I'm Princess Kailani Moon, my Coronation as queen will be coming up next week and I am inviting all the Moon people to watch. I'm also inviting our police forces and upperclassmen." Kailani explains. "To the world, I would like to announce that it will be broadcasted to the rest of the world." Kailani shifts her position a little. "As is tradition since our independence, we have been crowning our royals in the name of Aluna... Well, things are going to change as I rise to power. Lately, the Moon Kingdom has shown an uprise in Cosman beliefs, in fact, a recent census states that a good 64% of our people have converted to Cosman. 30% are still Alunarist, and the 6% are Novanic. I too have joined the Sixty Four percent of people in the faith of Cosmo... So I'd like to announce I am going to be crowned by the Holiest of Cosmans.... King Azul Tatunga of the Cosmic Kingdom of Azul." Kailani smiles..

    She stands firm. "To the Alunarists and the Novanics who may be angered by this decision... just remember. Nova is kind to those different from him. For my Alunarists: The story of Aluna is an ancient love bond between Cosmo and Aluna. As I saw when King Tatunga and I paraded to Castle Moon, it seems Aluna's love for Cosmo is still there as you all gave him a warm welcome as if he was one of us. Which, as history has told, we are one of his, and he is one of ours." Kailani smiles again. "I am Kailani Moon." The video cuts.

    Transports from Khiross fly off into the sky as General Klade's ship lands in front of Castle Dark, his guards follow him. He walks into the castle, the Dark Guards aim their guns at The Cosmic Guards. "Bullets? Still?" Klade scoffs as one of his guards charges up their laser rifle. "Lower your weapon." Klade commands, the Dark Guard listens. "Where's King William? I have the evidence he wants." Klade asks.

    Security cam footage from CKA-MSB-2 appears on William's computer screen, Klade in front of the Desk as William and Mira look at the footage. The deck footage shows someone on a boat, sneaking past boxes. It's completely silent. It cuts to the person climbing up a ladder quickly. The clothing appears to be from The Sun Kingdom. They get into the control room, it shows them fiddling around with the controls as a button is pressed. Sirens go off, it's visible, the flashing lights. William sits back in his seat.

    King Serenio bursts into Kailani's room. "Kailani!" His voice booms. "Yes, Father?" She sits straight up. "Before your coronation, I've arranged a marriage for you." Serenio says. "A marriage? With who?" She asks. "King Helios of course! This marriage could end our Monster crisis on the border and we could strike away the cosmic military!" Serenio smiles. "What!?" Kailani shouts. "It's a peaceful alternative." Serenio says. "Father, I love Azul." She sighs. "I'm sorry, but you must. For our nation." Serenio explains. "Father, you signed away your Throne. The council confirmed your retirement. I've already passed legislation that allows the CKA to protect us. And I'm getting Married on my coronation day to King Tatunga, and I'm going to be Queen Kailani Tatunga." Kailani snaps at her father. "How dare you! I may as well go to the council and–" The King gets interrupted.

    Kailani is at her door. "No! How dare you! Marrying your oldest daughter without her knowledge to that snake of a man. He's a false Royal!" Kailani snaps. "And Tatunga is not a snake? Kai, he caused a nuclear missile to go off in the Dark Kingdom. How in any way is that good leadership!?" Serenio shouts back. "Because of Helios' brainwashed Sun Seekers! They infiltrated his Military Base! He showed me the footage and kept me up to date!" Kailani shouts. "Brainwashed?! Kailani, Tatunga is the one whose Kingdom is filled with Brainwashed people! Forced to worship the Royal family! He's doing the same to you. Those people only know the CKA and the stars above! You will not marry that man and you will Marry Helios Brightstorm, your name will be Kailani Brightstorm and that is that!" Serenio shouts, Kailani's eyes fill with tears as she tries to think of what to say. "I've signed the papers with the council! I'm marrying Azul Tatunga! He loves me!" Kailani's eyes fill up more. "He doesn't! He only claims to love you so he can build an Empire! You're as blind as a Grugnal!" Serenio shouts. "You're a horrible father, and a worse ruler! The people should have the right to choose their leader! Perhaps we wouldn't be stuck in this mess!" Kailani's voice breaks as tears stream down her face, she runs off.

    Ollo approaches the king. "My King, is everything ok?" She asks, guards are behind her. "Yes... Arrange a meeting with the council members for me, please. I have some problems I wish to address." Serenio sighs. "Yes, my King." Ollo nods and walks away.

    The Royal Church of Cosmo inside Tatunga's Citadel is one of the many Cosman churches. Wrapped in blue robes, Azul stands at an altar, he sips a glowing blue liquid from the Royal Chalice. His eyes begin to glow, everything around him changes.

    Azul appears in the stars, he looks around, he's on some kind of rock. In the distance, there's a massive temple. He makes his way there. The Temple of Tatunga sits in the Cosmos. Azul walks through the doors into a dark room. Blue flames begin to ignite, lighting the room. "Mother." Azul's voice echoes. "Son." A woman's voice responds. "I, Azul Bombaraton Tatunga, wish you, El Azran Tatunga, to appear before me." Azul says. "As you wish, my son." A glowing blue figure appears before him. Azul looks at the figure, shaped just like his mother, his eyes reflect the light shining before him. "Mother..." He falls to his knees. "I've been watching over you, son." El says. "I know, Mother... I've felt your watchful gaze protecting me." Azul smiles, tears fill his eyes. "Azul, my son, why is it you've called upon me?" El asks. "I-I'm in love, Mother." Azul raises his head to look the glowing figure in the eyes.

     A smile grows upon his mother's face. "Kailani Moon." El asks. "Yes. We've been seeing each other for some time." Azul says. "I am proud of the King you've become... Yet frightened." El says. "Frightened? Why?" Azul lifts himself up. El tilts her head. "I cannot interfere with your history, my son." El explains. "But mother... Please!" Azul's eyes fill with more tears, his voice breaking. "Love is like a god, my son. It either creates your world... or destroys it. But for the most part... It's out of our control." El touches her son's shoulder, her energy flows through him. "I'm crossing a terrible fate... aren't I?" Azul asks.

    William Dark, Mira, and General Klade walk through the halls of Castle Dark. "We've called the Sun Kingdom 10 times, no goddamn answer!" William kicks a drawer in the hall. "Ow!" He holds his foot. "King William Dark, I find it only appropriate to form a Military Alliance." Klade says. "General, I don't think my people are ready for war..." William sighs. "If you decline this opportunity to get revenge on the Sun Region, the CKA will have no choice but to stop giving aid, and we'd have to ask you to pay us back. With our technology, it would cost your kingdom trillions of dollars, you'll be poorer than Kloss." Klade explains. William stops and thinks for a moment.

    A gentle breeze blows Kailani Moon's hair as she sits against a tree, looking up at the stars. "Kailani." Azul's voice says quietly, she looks over and sees him standing there, both of their eyes red from crying. "Do you love me, Azul?" She asks. "Of course, why do you ask?" Azul sits beside her, she turns away from him. "What's wrong?" Azul puts his hand on her shoulder, she brushes it off. "Do you really love me?" Kailani asks. "Yes. More than anything." Azul says. "My father said you only wanted me because I'm the only solution to reuniting the CKA." She sniffles and wipes her tears. "Kailani. I would give up everything to be with you." Azul lifts her chin up and looks her in the eyes. "But I cannot risk endangering my core kingdom." Azul adds. Kailani looks him in the eyes. "Zuzu, I love you too." She pulls him close and kisses him hard on the lips. She pulls back. "My father is trying to force me to marry that-that snake!" Kailani says. "Who?" Azul looks at her, his face rushing with confusion. "Helios Brightstorm." Kailani says. Azul's face erupts with pure rage.
