Methodical Chaos Act III

A news jingle goes off. The World News Network. "I am Dan Hanson of WNN." The Newscaster says. "Let's sum up the past week. The CKA has been working tirelessly to help out those displaced by the accidental launch of a nuclear weapon that hit the city of Khiross." Mr. Hanson explains. "King William Dark and King Azul Tatunga have released the Security Footage of what appears to be a man dressed in Behemoth Hide breaking into a CK Military base." Hanson adds. "King Helios has last been heard going off on a Hunting Retreat near the Sarinsota Canyons, which is just by the border of the Moon Kingdom." Hanson adds. "Speaking of the Moon Kingdom, the King has asked the Kingdom Council repeatedly to revoke Kailani Moon's right to the Throne. The people have gotten outraged by the King's requests and have begun protesting Apollo City." Hanson looks at his notes.

He clears his throat. "Kailani Moon passed legislation that removes The Moon Force, the Moon Kingdom's Police Force, in exchange for Cosmic Military Protection. The King has attempted to ask King Azul Tatunga of the CKA to suppress these protests, but King Tatunga came out with a statement. Let's take a look." Hanson points to the camera.

It cuts to footage of Azul. "King Serenio Moon has signed papers to retire from the throne, leaving it to his oldest child, Princess Kailani Moon. Kailani Moon is a remarkable leader, and has been pushing legislation that the Moon Kingdom Council has passed. I've been working with Princess Kailani very closely, protecting her borders and providing aid. Her people have praised her for the work we've accomplished together. King Serenio does not like this. However, it is a fact that the Moon Kingdom never wanted separation of State, and Kailani Moon recognizes that. As you know, The CKA has conducted investigations into a nuclear launch that hit our dear friend to the south. We suspected foul play, and we found foul play. A man named Inti from the Sun Region has broken into one of our Military Bases in the sea and launched a Nuclear weapon. My Kingdom, for the first time in almost a century, has provided the single biggest aid to any other nation in the history of the world!" Tatunga says.

He shifts his position. "Why mention this? You may be asking... Well, while my Kingdom and the Kloss Kingdom have been providing as much assistance as we can. King Moon has taken the side of the traitors, rushing to Helios' defense. I believe they've struck a deal. King Serenio has arranged a marriage between Kailani Moon and Helios Brightstorm, a false Royal." Tatunga explains. "To the Moon People, you cannot allow the King To Do this. The King has repeatedly asked my forces to stop your protests. They direct him to General Klade. He's currently assisting the Dark Kingdom, so he's directed to Tav Laro. Tav answers to me. I will continue to reject the King's requests until Lady Moon's Coronation. If you'll excuse me, I'll have to attend to other things." Tatunga explains. The video ends.

Kadance wraps his velvet cape around his shoulders as he walks to the Diplomat room. "Queen Lyra Leonard, what a strange surprise." Kadance smiles. "I would like to talk about trade opportunities." Lyra looks around, noticing a lot of the Diplomat Room seems to be updated, it looks almost modern... the type you'd see in the Old Cosmic Kingdom. "Well, as you do know, I love a good trade." Kadance smiles, it's not often the heaven and hell of the planet get together to chat anymore. "Great." Lyra smiles. Within Castle Rose, Mordo sneaks around, following hall signs to the Records Room.

Kadance leans against the table. "I only have one rule." Kadance adds. "What is it?" Lyra raises an eyebrow. "It must remain neutral. I've done deals with everyone but you and Dark. I understand that Dark is sort of in a pickle, and I would deem it neutral once all of this investigation is certified." Kadance explains. Lyra nods her head. Mordo peeks into the records room, no one. He walks inside and looks for this month's records.

    Mordo's eyes widen as he tries to think of who could the Rose Kingdom be trading poison with? It has to be the CKA giving weapons in exchange for poison, Mordo thinks to himself. "Can I help you?" Violet asks, a girl with bright purple hair and a very toned body. "Oh uh... Trying to find the bathroom." Mordo says, looking around. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't urinate on our records, this is a private area. I'll show you to the bathroom." Violet glares at him. Mordo nods and nervously follows Violet.

    On top of Tatunga's Citadel, as planets luminate the virtual sky. Azul and Kailani look up at the stars and planets. "And when a star dies, it collapses in on itself and explodes." Azul explains, he's in his blue sweatshirt that has his kingdom's flag on it. "Is ours going to die soon?" Kailani asks, Azul chuckles, putting his arm around her. "I don't know." Azul smiles at her. The stars reflect in her eyes. "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?" Azul asks, and she turns to him. Azul takes a device out and taps it, the sky changes to the stars and moon. He gets up. Kailani is in a silk white nightgown and no shoes. She takes his hand and they begin twirling in the moonlight. They smile and laugh as the rays of light hit their faces. They step left and right, back and forth, spin. She looks him in the eyes, he looks back. "I love you, Zuzu." She says as she pulls him close. He looks at her and smiles, his eyes darting between her eyes and lips, his smile grows bigger, he laughs a little. "You and I... we could leave this world behind, we can live up there!" Azul looks up at the stars. "We could live among the gods! We can live on distant worlds together." Azul smiles even more. Kailani giggles. "And we will wed together. We will love together, we will build our lives together! I would give this all up for you, Kailani. I love you, more than anything." Azul looks her in the eyes. Kailani places her hands on his chest. "Well I'll go pack my bags and go tell father I'm going to space." Kailani giggles. "Really?" He asks. "I'd love to live on a Little Moon with you." She looks up at him. "A little moon, hm?" He smiles.

    The moon rises by Sarinsota Canyon. A herd of Drixnoxen sit by a hut. Arriving in his automobile, King Serenio steps out with The Moon Royal Guard. "Where is King Helios?" Serenio asks. Arkro goes inside one of the huts, moments later, Helios steps out. "Yes?" Helios asks. "You can no longer marry my daughter." Serenio says. "What!? Are you a fool! Serenio, our Nations must stick together." Helios says. "She won't want to marry you, she's fallen in love with Azul Tatunga." Serenio adds. "That demon." Helios scoffs. "But I can take care of Kailani, and I'd like to offer Qira, my only other child." Serenio says. Helios raises an eyebrow. "What are you going to do?" Helios asks. "If you wish to do what's best for yourself, you mustn't be bound by morality. If you wish to do what's best for your nation, you mustn't be bound by morality." Serenio says. "As in?" Helios looks at Serenio, who's almost teary eyed. "I must do the immoral." Serenio gulps.

    General Klade speaks with William Dark, discussing attack plans. "If your kingdom could somehow attack west, we'd be able to squeeze them from the east and south." Klade points to a hologram of the Sun Kingdom. "We can destroy the city of Sandople with our bombers in no time, SandStone is pretty easy to break." Klade explains, William thinks for a moment. Mira practices her magic spells. "Wait... but we haven't received any updates about my people. Are they safe? Are they alright?" William asks. "Yes, King William, they are very much safe." Klade responds. Mira gives Klade a look.

    King Serenio, his Daughter Qira, and Kailani sit at the dinner table. Serenio watches as Kailani sips her drink. "So..." Serenio looks at his daughters, Kailani glances at him and continues eating her steak. "How has your day been, girls?" He asks as he eats his steak too. "Good, I took a tour around Lunar City." Qira says. "What about you Kailani?" Serenio asks as he gulps. "It was fine." She says quietly, Serenio gulps. "How's Azul?" Serenio asks, a little shaky. "It's Tatunga, to you." Kailani snaps. "I'm sorry, sweetheart." He wipes his slightly teary eyes. "Are you ok, father?" Qira asks. "Yes, I am." Serenio touches Qira's hand. "I'm done." Kailani gets up and takes her plate. "Oh you haven't even finished your steak. And don't worry about it, let the servants clean up." Sernio chuckles. "It's fine." She says quietly, walking out of the room. Sernio sits there nervously.

    Azul lands in the Moon Kingdom. He walks through the city with his guards as the protesters get more crazy, breaking windows, throwing bricks at buildings. When they see Tatunga, they stop and begin cheering for him, he smiles. He walks into Castle Moon. "I'm here to see Kailani." Azul says as he holds a Cosmic flower in one hand, in the other is a lunar ring with a diamond that rained down on a nearby planet. "Ah, she mentioned she had important and exciting news to tell you... she's up in her room. In her room." Ollo gestures up the stairs. Azul walks into the room. "Kailani." Azul says softly, no response. He walks over to her in her bed and nudges her. "Kai?" His voice drops, he turns her over, her eyes are dull, her body cold. "No..." Azul's eyes fill with tears, his voice breaks. "Kailani." He shouts as he falls to his knees, running his hands through her hair. He begins to shake and weep as the protests outside turn into riots. "Kailani... my love..." He whispers, collapsing beside her.
