Tantalizing Tensions Act II

    The Royals gather together and talk about events in their kingdoms. "Behemoths have been acting rather strange lately, some of them have gotten stronger too." Helios says. William listens intently. "We've been seeing a bunch of Unidentified Flying Objects too. There's been strange structures offshore as well. My fishermen have been saying the fish are larger too." Helios adds. "Y'know, some of the creatures on Kloss have been acting strange too. They've been mutating, we believe." Lyra says before sipping her alcoholic drink, Kailani finishes her drink and goes to get another.

    Trumpets suddenly blare, everyone in the room turns to the doors as they swing open. 6 men in black and blue armor walk in the form of a circle, it seems there's something blue in the middle. "Cosmos." Lyra mumbles, recognizing the armor, it's much more updated and sleek than she recalls. "Rao Tatunga is the eldest of The Royals, we have no choice but to show utmost respect." William says. Suddenly the men move out of the way, the man in the middle with blue and gold armor clicks the side of his helmet, deactivating it. "King Azul Tatunga of The Cosmic Kingdom of Azul, otherwise known as The C.K.A." A Dark servant says. "Thank you." Tatunga chuckles.

    Tatunga has blonde hair, blue eyes and clean shaven, he walks through the path of upperclassmen, taking a drink from one of them and sipping it, he winces and throws it on the floor. "What is that? Isabella Islay Whisky? Ugh, so cheap!" He groans as he approaches the royals, slithering his arm around Lyra, she glares at him. "You're King now?" Lyra peels Tatunga's hand off her. "I have been for many years." Tatunga looks over at William, Kadance, and Helios, Kailani is still getting her drink. "I thought your father was still in power." William says. "Ah, sadly, he passed away many years ago." Tatunga answers. "But you weren't the next in line?" Kadance asks. "Ah, you see, my Father grew ill after accidentally drinking poison, my mother too, my brother, my other brother, my other other brother, my sister, and my younger brother. So it left only me, such a tragedy, but I thought today would be a great day to restore the CKA back to its former glory." Tatunga smiles, sliding his arm around Lyra again, William eyes him.

    Helios looks at the Cosmic King. "Restore how?" He raises an eyebrow, he fears the CKA may want to take back the land it used to occupy. "I'd like to restore old alliances, I want to make The CKA the operator of the world, like it used to be. Supplying technology, giving information to the world." Tatunga explains. Lyra peels the rude King's hands off her once more. Kailani approaches. "Az–King Tatunga, what a pleasant surprise." She looks up at him and smiles with a little bit of red rushing to her cheeks. "Lady Moon, it's a pleasure in your presence." Tatunga nods. "As I'm warming up to the Throne of the Moon, I've begun already discussing details, the CKA and I have been working together, making deals with my father as well." Kailani says. "What kind of deals?" Lyra asks. "Military protection, Lunar Panels, updated vehicles, so many things." Kailani smiles. "Yes, she came to me as there has been a border crisis. Behemoths have been escaping into her land, along with your hunters. If this continues, The CKA will not only hunt the Behemoths ourselves, but we will either have to imprison or kill the hunters that trespass." Tatunga glares at Helios.

    Helios looks at Tatunga. "Well you can't just kill my people." Helios says. "Your people were once my people, you've happened to evolve backwards and declared yourself as independent with nothing to show for it. Just because The Cosmos went on lock down, does not mean the war is over. I've done extensive research on each and every Royal. My people have done Military Research in the time of lock down, I can confidently say we are the absolute most advanced Kingdom in the history of the world. As King, I've decided it was necessary to share these advancements with our closest allies, luckily, my time as King restored the oldest alliance, The Moon Kingdom." Azul explains. "You know, we could make a deal for Solar Panels in your region." He adds.

    Helios pauses for a moment before speaking. "You mean Kingdom. Not region." Helios says. Tatunga's face becomes fuming with anger, Kailani sneakily places her hand on the back of his arm, Tatunga's face goes back to normal, he glares at Helios and bumps shoulders with him as he walks away. He turns around to Lyra. "Lyra, I'd love to help you out with those creatures you have running around. I'd love to have one as a pet." Tatunga chuckles as he approaches William. "Congratulations, King William, I hope our Kingdoms can work together." Tatunga says. "Oh yeah, that'd act-" "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a meeting to attend at the Cosmic Hotel with some smokin' hotties." Tatunga laughs, he waves his finger. "Boys! We're outta here!" He says as his men follow him. He boards the Tatunga Space Jet and flies away.

    Everyone stands speechless, trying to comprehend whatever it was that happened. "What a dick." Lyra scoffs, shaking her head. William sighs as he looks at Kailani. "I should probably go." She says as she finishes her second drink and congratulates William before leaving.

    Helios looks around. "Kadance, my people have become very happy that you were willing to trade some of our resources." He says, trying to make conversation. William studies the panicked King. "I don't find it appropriate to speak of our own kingdoms at an event for another." Kadance says, Helios sighs. "William, this is your day. This is your time, a new future is here. There's a lot of work that you've got to do and I'd like to proudly say I'm happy to show you the ropes of being the one in command." Lyra says welcomingly. "I must be going, my men are going on a hunt once I return, I'd hate to keep them waiting." Helios sighs. "Do your best to keep everything away from those eastern borders." Lyra tells him. Helios leaves without saying goodbye. "Kadance, I just wanted to say that... I'm sorry about what happened to your Queen." William says. "Don't. We did our best. She's gone now." Kadance responds. The three that remain talk together about life and each other. Soon the party fades.

    William walks through his dull, empty castle, standing on a balcony, looking at the lush forests and hills, taking in the beauty as the snow begins to fall.

    The hot and heavy sun beats down on the flat desert. Drixnoxen are the domesticated beasts that the Sun people often ride while hunting, they're scaled with large horns and fat tails. Helios and his hunters ride through the desert, the beasts' hooves pound against the cracked earth as the sun is near setting. They blow horns loudly, in a dust cloud, three shadows of giants emerge.

    The beautiful sun begins to set on fields of flowers, Kadance stands on his castle's balcony, looking over the castle town beside the fields as the street lamps are lit up. The Rose Kingdom is littered with Farms and Windmills, it's the most calming Kingdom there is.

    Bright yellow lights pierce the stormy night sky of Kloss as the sound of propellers draws nearer. "Let's go! Move it! Move it!" A man says as he flips a switch down, an electric fence lights up, surrounding the capital city of Gragnar. It's full of streets of broken old cobblestone, it's the most povertied Nation. Not to mention, outside the city limits, the people aren't given protection by electric fences or policing. Instead, they are cursed hellish creatures waiting to harvest children and devour homes. During the day, the Queen sends out teams of soldiers to go out and relocate the people from other towns to safe houses in the three cities. Lyra's helicopter lands as the thunder rolls and lightning flashes, she hurries into her castle.

    Kailani looks outside of her balcony to see glowing blue leaves and rabbits. It's so dark and pretty, she looks up to the stars and the moon, she can see the galaxy from here. "Lady Moon." A servant comes out. "Yes, Catherine?" Kailani asks. "Your transport is ready." Catherine says. "Thank you. I'll be there in 30." Kailani responds.

    In the dark ocean, against the night sky, a Military base built in the sea shines its spotlights around, behind them, a massive blue energy shield, beyond this dome sits the Cosmic Kingdom of Azul. The bases suddenly begin raising their turrets, aiming at Sun, and Dark.
