Parva Luna Act III

    A sea of stars paints the scape. Some shoot by, others twinkle. Tatunga floats through the universe in his blue robe, flipping through the stars. Suddenly, he's flying into a moon, he braces himself but falls into a cave, it's dark. He splashes into water, sinking down to the bottom. He emerges from the water to have the sun shine down on him, he lifts his head up and sees a beautiful blue sky. He spots an island in the distance with an oak tree and begins to swim towards it.

    He walks onto the land to see a woman with long black hair looking out at the sea. Her hair flows in the breeze. Azul approaches her. "ZuZu..." The woman spoke. Azul's eyes widened. "There's nothing beyond the stars." Kailani turns to look at him. "They saved him, Zuzu." Kailani grows a smile. Azul tries to speak, but can't for some reason. "He's alive and well." Kailani reaches for him as clouds begin to swirl. "The shards, my love." She says. "Not only can they destroy, but they can create." She adds, the sky starts to turn orange. Azul steps towards Kailani, but a blue crystal wall slams in front of him, he turns around, an indigo wall, he gets surrounded by 8 walls, all the colors of the shards. "No!" Azul's voice explodes.

    Mira and Mordo reach for the keypad to free Lyra, they begin to slip and tap a button as gravity pulls them to their right, they fall down the hall, slamming against the wall. They're pulled around, slamming against walls, floors, and ceilings. They fall on top of each other, in a dark room. "Where are we?" Mordo asks, it feels like the tossing around has stopped. They're both bruised badly. Mordo gets up and looks around. "I think that's the center." Mira points, there's a catwalk towards the middle, the drop is almost endless, in every direction. "Hang on, I finally have time to do this." She says as she begins to cast a spell, dark energy swirls her legs. "Hold onto me." She says.

    She floats towards the center with Mordo holding tight. "We need to open it." Mira feels around the chamber hatch to see if there's a possible way to get inside. "Step back." Mordo says softly. Mira complies, Mordo holds his shard in hand, orange energy swirls around his fist, he punches a dent into the hatch and rips it off. Tatunga's eyes open, he's inside the chamber, powering the Parva Luna. "AH!!!" They both scream as Tatunga grabs Mordo's hand. "Give it to me. Boy!" Tatunga growls as he gets out of the chamber, the lights begin flickering. Mira blasts dark energy at Tatunga, knocking him back, she grabs Mordo and begins to fly away, Tatunga appears in front of her. "Nuh uh!" He chuckles as he tackles them both into the chamber.

    Tatunga pins Mira against the wall and begins to pry her fingers open. "GAH!" She cries. Mordo punches Tatunga in the face with the orange shard's power. "Woahahaha! I hit him!" Mordo laughs. Tatunga hits his head against the wall, Mira blasts Tatunga out of the chamber. "Toss yours up!" Mordo shouts, ready to throw his shard. Mira instead holds her out to touch Mordo's. Tatunga sees his chance, he dashes towards the shards. They're close together, the chaotic power is unimaginable. Tatunga swoops by. "NO!" Mira and Mordo cry out. Tatunga opens his hand, to find the shards have touched, his eyes widened.

    The Parva Luna explodes with an orange and black aura. The Freedom Fighters on the ground watch as the debris falls to the earth. Cosmic fighters fall from the sky, crawlers stop crawling. All vehicles cease to move. The eight shards rain down, leaving a colored trail behind, they all land by Tatunga's Citadel. "No time to celebrate. Get all the shards." Vermelho tells the freedom fighters. Arkro, Sokra, Helios, Ollo, Armela and Vermelho make sure Lagi is taken somewhere secure, Ollo takes everyone on her Lunar Dragon towards the Citadel.

    They swirl around the citadel, Armela uses an energy detector. "They seem to be moving around, they're going up the tower." Armela says. "We can't get in unless we use the front door, it's on lockdown." Vermelho says.

    The Freedom Fighters walk through the front doors. It's dark and dusty in the Citadel. "I don't know how to get around..." Vermelho says. "This place was wildly redone..." Armela adds. "We could split up." Arkro says. "That's a bad idea." Ollo says. "Bad ideas are Ideas nonetheless." Sokra adds. Helios wanders off. "Where are you going?" Vermelho asks. "I'm going to find out how to get to the tower." Helios wanders off. "Ollo, go outside and keep an eye, let us know if anyone comes for us." Vermelho says.

    He walks into the trophy room, he sees taxidermied creatures from Helios' land. He sees ancient items, sacred stones and coinage. Helios is knocked down, Tatunga towers over him. Tatunga's cape is ripped up, his armor is broken. Helios gets up and throws a fireball at Tatunga, but he blocks it. Tatunga puts his fists up and begins throwing jabs at Helios, Helios is punched in the face. Tatunga throws two body shots, knocking Helios down. "You won't win, Tatunga." Helios gasps as he's grabbed and dragged across the floor, Tatunga grabs a spear and presses it against Helios' skull. Helios screams as more and more pressure is added, blood gushes as the spearhead pierces his head.

    The Freedom fighters walk towards the center of the citadel. "Oh... here's the tower." Vermelho chuckles as he opens the door to see the stairway. Armela looks up. "That's a lot of floors." She says. They walk up many flights of stairs, exhausted by the amount of walking. "This has dragged on long enough! Can't we just be done?" Sokra whines. "Fingers crossed." Arkro says as they make it to the top of the tower.

    The doors slowly open, revealing Tav Laro surrounded by 8 chests. "Tav..." Vermelho says. "Vermelho." Tatunga appeared behind them, he used the elevator. Vermelho, Armela, Sokra, and Arkro step back, Tatunga chuckles and walks past them. "You've lost. Time and time again." He holds his arms out and laughs. "You keep trying to knock me down, but I get back up. That's how it's going to be." Tatunga laughs, standing beside Tav. "I'll tell you what's going to happen to us, in the end." Vermelho steps forward. "We're going to kill each other." Vermelho looks his brother in the eyes. "Aren't we?" Tatunga grins. "Maybe you'll kill me. Maybe I'll kill you. Sooner or later, one of us is going to kill the other." Vermelho explains.

    Tatunga bursts with laughter, when suddenly the entire roof is ripped off by a Cosmic fighter being thrown. They look up at the Navy Blue sky as Ollo flies with her Lunar dragon, the Dragon blasts at the floor, knocking the chests off the tower. "NOOO!!!" Tatunga screams, reaching out, his cape flowing with the breeze, his blood and sweat dripping from his chin. "NO! NO NO!" He slams his fist on the ground, he pulls out his pistol and blasts the wing of Ollo's dragon, causing her to plummet.

    Tatunga aims his pistol at Vermelho, but Sokra and Arkro grab his arms and pull him away. "Grrrah!" Tatunga sweeps their legs and blasts Sokra in the head. Armela screams, Vermelho holds her back. Arkro looks at Sokra's bloody body, then at Tatunga, rage filling his face. "You fucking bastard!" Arkro tackles Tatunga to the ground. Arkro begins punching Tatunga in the face over and over. Tatunga kicks Arkro in the groin and pushes him off. "You and I are even." Tatunga aims his blaster at Armela, but a flame blasts the side of his face, causing him to stumble, Vermelho tackles Tatunga off the tower. They break off each other and Tatunga turns on his energy blade and jams it into the wall of the citadel, slowing his fall. Ollo swoops Vermelho and Armela.

    Tatunga looks around the rubble, he looks up to see the navy blue sky. A Mothman swoops down and claws at Tatunga, he slashes through, the green blood splashing everywhere. He notices an orange glow between some buildings, he squints. He gets blasted in the shoulder and stumbles back. "Gah!" He looks around and sees Lyra aiming a gun at him. Tatunga pulls out his pistol and aims it at her, suddenly, a dark energy swirls around his wrist and jerks his arm up. "Wha!?" He looks at his other wrist as it's forced up, vines wrap around his ankles.

    Tatunga sees Mira, Mordo, and Lily emerge, holding their shards. Armela shows the blue shard. Sokra has the yellow shard. They approach Tatunga, Vermelho holds out the red shard. Tatunga suddenly realizes he's beat. Lyra holds out the white shard. The shards float up and surround Tatunga. They begin swirling in a circle at a great speed. Tatunga is forced to his knees, looking at Lyra. "Potes invenire pacem quam astra." She chants, the others repeat. They chant back and forth about 4 times.

    Tatunga begins to pray. "I have failed you, Kailani." He says with his eyes closed. "I wish there was another way for me to say it, but there isn't." He bows his head. "Forgive me! Forgive me, my love!" He begins to weep. "Hear me! Hear me!" He cries. "I pray your heart awaits for mine! I shall arrive soon!" He looks up to the sky with watery eyes, he starts screaming in pain as he's split into eight, and sealed into each shard. They fly up into the sky, and release a rainbow light that shines down upon the land. The Freedom fighters look up at the sky. They all celebrate for Azul Tatunga is no more.
