Part 8: The Phone Call

~go go power rangers!!!

I woke up in my bed to my ringtone, yes that's right I have that ringtone and im proud of it!!

I didn't know the number that was calling so I decided to play

" Burger hut. what's your beef?"

"Uh Frankie I thought you said you were calling Sarah....i did, this is the number she gave me...maybe you dialed it wrong buddy...well hang up!...no wait wait im hungry, maybe this place delivers...delivers on the road Joe?...well you never know.."

I couldn't take it anymore and I started laughing

"oh great now the persons laughing at us, hang up!" I think nick said

"Wait guys, it's me" I said between laughter...by far the best wake up call ever and it has only just begun.

"Oh great and I was hungry!" Joe pouted

"sorry joe," I said while yawning

"oh crap did we wake you up?" Kevin said

"Yep, it's only..." I looked at my alarm clock "7 a.m. on a saturday"

they laughed

"well hows about we let you go back to sleep and you just call this number back later?" Kevin said

"Nope, I'm up now. Sup!?" I said while sitting up

"well she's definitely not like joe" nick said "ow!"

"hey no hitting your brother" I joked into the phone

"Oh bud out!" joe yelled

"how rude!" I said in my best Stephanie tanner voice

"So angel, how's it going?" Frankie, ahh how I love that guy

"Everything is going great Frankie, I was just woken up and am actually not in a bad mood about it, which I usually am" I smiled on my phone and started to pick out some clothes...I was going on campus today better be safe

I pulled out a white cami ,a green sleeveless hoodie and some yellow sweat pants with the elastics on the bottom so I can scrunched them up

"awww" I heard them collectively say and someone mocked throwing up...probally joe

"but seriously that food thing was not cool!" Joe said,

he mumbled something else and I couldn't hear him. One because I was laughing and two because he stopped talking

"well if you guys are going to be calling me you better be prepared for anything, I like answering my phone with randomness"

"who says we're going to keep calling?" Joe said matter of factly

"ouch..." I heard a slap and stomping and I sighed

"yes joe's gone! More angel for me!"

"aww im glad you like me and all Frankster but never pick a girl over your family, family comes first ok?" I said sweetly into the phone

"ok but what i-" he said but was cut off by nick "so you really don't know anything about us?"

"no, Nick I don't...would you like the run down on things I know?"

"well if you don't mind." He encouraged in a whiny kind of voice

" since you insist, and warning I only know what I know by very random, random sources, I'll reveal that another time mmk?" I prepared

"yep" they said together

"well um I know that Kevin is the eldest and his real name is Paul Kevin Jonas II, then there's Joseph Adam Jonas, then Nicholas Jerry Jonas and last but not least my buddy Franklin Nathaniel Jonas, he's not in the band but he totally rocks socks! Ha ha I have a thing for knowing whole names. Ummm you guys are from the great garden state of NEW JERSEY, ummm I think you all were born in different states like i think Joe Arizona, Nick Texas and Kev and Frankie Jersey...but I could be wrong. Um you have a show on Disney channel called "Jonas" and um you used to be signed to Columbia but are now signed to Hollywood records. You guys wear purity rings and your dad is your manager...I think....that's it" I took a deep breath waiting for their response.

"wow...you like are like the worst fan in history...you really do know nothing" I heard the voice of Joe once again and rolled my eyes

"why thank you...that's why I said I don't deserve the title fan. But maybe you weren't listening when I said that Joseph!" I said with annoyance...he was being rude and I wasn't going to tolerate it

"I'm sorry Sarah I didn't hear you, I only listen to people that matter" he laughed

"ugh!!! Whatever! " I said censoring myself because I knew that Frankie was still listening

"Alright, alright! Soooo Sarah what do you have planned on this lovely day?" Kevin asked trying to change the subject

"I'm going to campus today, to get a head start on my research paper; I don't have classes on Fridays so that's how we were there yesterday and I have nothing else to do" I replied still ticked at Joe

"Sounds cool, long weekends sound awesome" Nick replied

"What a nerdy thing to do" Joe said trying to start with me again

"God bless you." I replied

"Uhh Sarah no one sneezed" Nick said

"oh I know Nick, I just decided that when ever Joe speaks it equivalent to a person sneezing, I will ignore it and pray for him" I said matter of factly

"ha ha oh this is epic!" Kevin exclaimed

"I think she's an idiot, that's dumb" Joe said again

"Hey don't call her an idiot Joe!" Kevin and Frankie said

"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil" I said as I put on some music and sat down, as soon as I'm done with this crazy phone call I'm getting in the shower.

"Genius!" Nick yelled excitedly

"so umm who's phone is this so I can save it?" I asked so I'd know the next time they called.

"MINE!" Kevin said proudly

"and who is me?" I knew who it was but I just wanted to play

"I've been trying to figure that out for the longest" Joe said and I rolled my eyes yet again

"God loves you Joe" I said in a monotone voice.

"but who loves you? I bet no one loves you. I bet your mother doesn't even love you" Joe said harshly

"JOE NO!!!" Kevin said, because he knows my situation

" Wow...umm...guys I uh gotta go, and Kevin I'll call you later...or you can just text me; and don't worry about it " I sniffed and started to hang up the phone but stayed on silently

"Oww!!! What was that for guys?....why are you being so mean to her?... yea what did she ever do to you?!...Nothing, I just don't see what's so special about some random fat black girl who barely knows us"

" First Corinthians 13, Joe...whole chapter" I said and hung up
