Nick's POV

She's been dancing with him all night and then a slow song came on ....i should shoot the DJ! I could shoot that Taylor kid too...what makes him think he has a right to just come in and hog her all night! Everyone deserves a chance to dance with her! Ok sure the party was really just getting started but still he needs to back off!...great now I sound jealous and I do not get jealous... ugh I need to relax....i grabbed some punch out of the punch bowl and watched...everyone out there seemed to be in a trance but Sarah just looked so beautiful, she definitely sticks out. How could she move on so fast...move on geeze Nick you weren't even dating the girl...but still we knew there were feelings and you don't just pass out over any old body right? I mean sure girls faint when they see me all the time but....Oh crap she's lookin at me what do I do, what do I do!

Sarah's POV

That's it I can't take it if he's going to watch me I'm not going to satisfy him with watching him! I closed my eyes took a deep breath and a wonderful aroma filled my senses...it was him, Taylor's scent geeze I sound like the werewolf lol

"Oh my God." I said stopping from dancing

"What? What's wrong? Did I hurt you? Am I moving too fast? I'm sorry if i-"

I placed a finger over his lips and giggled

"No silly, you didn't do anything wrong"

" then what's going on?"

"I was laughing at my thoughts"

"oh yea?" he raised an eyebrow

"Yea. Because you smell really good and i thought mmm I like taylor's scent...and because I thought that...I realized I sound like I should be playing the wolf and then thought oh god im turning into an obsessed teen banshee lol"

"wow your mind certainly does go all over the place" he laughed and I blushed but soon laughed with him

then music changed pace

"I think I'm ready to sit now."

"Yea and I think everyone is getting a little bitter that I've been hogging you all night."

"Let them be bitter, my birthday, my party, I choose who I want to spend it with" I smiled and he grabbed my hand and lead me to my "special" table. Which had a throne chair for me and regular seats for a few friends

"Bout time! Geez Taylor I thought I'd never get my girlfriend back." Demi said pretending to be hurt

"ha ha ha Sorry, we were just catching up. Umm I'm going to go mingle ok?"

"okay." I smiled and hugged him "thanks again for coming"

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." He smiled that big smile and made me blush

"See sweetiecakes I knew you couldn't be faithful!" she turned away dramatically.

"Oh honey bunny you'd know I'd never leave you, not in a million life times. We just look too good together!" I went to comfort her but she turned away.

"Fine if you want to be mad I can be mad too!" So I turned the other way just as equally mad

"Guys...ok stop...guys!!" Joe started pacing unsure of what to do and then he did my favorite gesture he moved his hand through his hair nervously; that's when me and Demi couldn't hold it any longer we busted out laughing.

"you guys suck!" Joe said

"aww sorry pookie but it was too easy, now go with my girlfriend and dance! I want to be free of you!" Demi blabbed

"What?...really?" he looked hurt this time

"Wow gee thanks I really feel loved" I mumbled because they were 'trying to get rid of me'
