CHIAKIS POV
TIME SKIP TO 2 AM
"Rengoku are you sure about this..
What if we get lost or hurt?.." I asked
"That's why I packed things exactly for that! Now let's go" He grabbed my hand and we jumped out of the window.
He followed me to the estate and we snuck in.
"You take Iguro and I take Furuichi" he whispered and I did what he said and he grabbed Furuichi.
"Now we leave?" I asked and he nodded
We ran outside of the and Kyojuro put Obanai on his back and started carrying him back to the estate. By wanna that time it was 3 am, so we took a short rest.
FURUICHI POV
I woke up in a wagon with Obanai, I looked around and saw 2 other kids and one was someone I remembered... CHIAKI?!!
"WHO ARE YOU GUYS?! ABD WHERE ARE WE?!"
The girl was asleep and the boy stood up
"Im Kyojuro Rengoku and that's Chiaki Iguro! We came to save you too" And then we saw the snake demon, Kyojuro Started running with me and Chiaki started running with Furuichi. Surprisingly she was fast enough to get Furuichi away but me and Kyojuro were almost caught.
Until Chiaki started running towards the snake demon with a sharp branch. But as we turned around we saw blood in the air. It wasn't mine. It wasn't Kyojuro's, It wasn't Furuichi's. We thought it was the snake demon's but...
"Chiaki!" I heard Kyojuro scream, I looked over at the direction and saw her. Lying down on the ground with a sharp branch stuck in the ground next to Kyojuro. Chiaki got up with cuts on her face, rips on her kimono and blood dripping. She told us to run but i was frozen. I just saw her looking like these where her last moments and she expected me to run?
"NO ARGUING JUST GO!" She yelled before anyone could protest. I saw Kyojuro run and grab to to run with Obanai and him. As we started running we saw more blood flying in air but we just kept running. I looked back at Chiaki and wondered things. Like
'Why would she do this?'
'Why won't she run?'
'is she not in pain?'
'Why isn't she not crying?'
Thoughts like that ran though my head. But before we knew it. We where next to an open window with a red and yellow haired man looking through it. He then started running to the front door and grabbed Kyojuro.
"Kyojuro i was worried about you! we're where you? And where is Chiaki?" He exclaimed worriedly. I could tell he was really worried because when we saw him his face was in panic.
"Im really sorry dad! we just went to go get her brothers! and then a creepy snake thing came chasing us and we had to run but chiaki was holding it back! We told her to come on but she was trying to save us!" Rengoku said as he looked back worriedly, looking for Chiaki
The father had a calm but sad expression on his face as Chiaki came crawling towards us with blood on her clothes and everything.
"G-Guys i did it.." She mumbled before she passed out right at Rengoku's feet.
"Just go in the house and ill help her" The man said while picking up Chiaki and carrying her into the house right after we walked in.
CHIAKIS POV
I woke up in a Futon with bandages on me. I looked beside me but i only saw Senjuro (Which was laying on another futon) and Shinjuro was making sure i was ok
"What happened last night?" Shinjuro asked me and i sighed
"We snuck out because I wanted to save my brothers and the demon bumped into us but i held it back" I said with a sad face
"Why the long face? You did incredible, If you didn't do it then you guys would've died" Shinjuro said before adding onto his statement "You would be an amazing demon slayer Chiaki." He smiled
