Chapter 7 - First mission!

A few weeks after final selection, i was sitting down and getting my hair played with by Furuichi because i finally convinced him to talk to me a Kasugi Crow flew over to me. "CAW!CAW! CAW!CAW! MISS CHIAKI!! TOMIOKA GIYUU HAS SENT A MESSAGE TO YOU!" The crow then dropped a note on my head. "Tomioka? Who's that?" Furuichi asked me with a suspicious face. "Just a friend." I answered before opening the note. 'My sword is Blue, What about yours?' I read the note and wrote down, 'It hasn't came yet' And handed to a crow. "Oh! and tell him to stay safe." I smiled

The crow then flew away. "Mhm.. just a friend." Furuichi mumbled. "shut up." I then got up and walked outside to see my crow with my uniform and sword "Woah! Furuichi come look at this!" I grinned and Furuichi walked over to me and grabbed it. "Why does it have a hole right here" He said and proceeded to scoff. "You're not wearing that." He said and held his hand up with the uniform "But i have to Furuichi! It's my uniform!!" I tried to grab it but Shinjuro came and grabbed the uniform "You got your sword and uniform?" He gave me my sword and went to get oil "Chiaki you're not wearing this." He said as he grabbed me and we started walking somewhere.

We where at the meeting place and We met with one of the uniform makers "Who made this Uniform?" He said as he held up the uniform. "Ah, i believe Masao Maeda did." The Kakushi said as he pointed to the other one "Ok , thank you." Shinjuro said as he grabbed Masao. "You made this uniform for my 14 year old daughter." He said with literal death in his eyes. "If you don't get her one with a longer skirt and no boob window or i'll KILL YOU" Masao was scared and nodded before walking outside with us, Shinjuro then poured oil on it and used matches to burn the uniform. Masao was in dispare and we walked home.

When we got home revealed my sword, it turned out to be red and pink. I quickly wrote a note to Tomioka explaining what color i got. A few days later i got a note back from him. 'That's cool :)'' I smiled at the note. "Oooo Chiaki has a boyfriend!" Senjuro said from behind me. I swear i felt eyes all over me. 3 negatives and 2 positives..

"What's his name?" Kyojuro asked
"How old is he?" Obanai asked
"Youre 14." Shinjuro and Furuichi said in sync

"He's not my boyfriend.. he's a kid i saved at Final selection and we hung around each other. That's it." I tried my best to explain. Tomioka is just a friend anyway..

I was a bit flushered but my crow saved me. 'CAW! CAW! HEAD NORTH-EAST! TO ASAKUSA' Mycrow screamed and everyone stared at it. I had my uniform on already because i was trying it on. "What's the problem?" I asked as the crow landed on my head "Men have been disappearing!" My crow explained. "I'll be on it then!" I got up and waved goodbye to them and left.

"It's so cold." I said with a shiver. I had a white haori on and socks that only reached my ankles so i was guaranteed to freeze. "Why is Asakusa so far.." I mumbled while walking around. It was along time for when i made it to Asakusa, When i got further into the town i noticed a lady with a bun and a boy with pale green to black hair walking around. They gave off a strange demon aura. I was to shy to walk over to them so i just kept a eye on them. They walked into a ally, so, so did i. By the time i got there they where gone.

"So they are demons.." I thought out loud before a demon charged at me, but it wasn't the other ones. I quickly pulled out my katana to swing at them, I managed to leave a cut on it "What a brat! I'm trying to fix your face, it's not-" I cut the demon off with a soft reply "Oh i'm sorry for being a girl! Am i not manly enough for ya? Do you think i'm weak?!" I said but the demon just smirked and attacked me again. "Yes actually! Little girl." He said while looking at me and he bursted out laughing. "Please you look 6! You're not even a teenager yet! He kept laughing, his concentration was off of me so i took my chances. "Blood breathing: First Form:Blood Bliss!"  I said quickly and jumped fast and high into the air. I then flew down to attack the demon and delivered 9 slashes before sprinting back. The demon ran towards me with no arms. It regenerated and slashed my arm and skirt down to my knee. I yelped and looks up at him. I then jumped up and landed on top of a building. I jumped back down and pinned the demon down with my legs. "And fyi, Im 14." I said while smiling as the blood from the demons body came from its mouth and shot up into the air. And with that i sliced its head off clean.

"Oh my. That's a lot of- Blood.." I said before some of the blood had landed into my mouth. I had tried to spit it out but it stuck to my tounge. I soon passed out due to lose of blood.

TAMAYO POV

I was walking back out because i had sensed blood. "Oh my! Yuishiro we have another wounded.." I said, calling out to Yuishiro. He came quickly and grabbed the girl. We then walked back into our home. I walked down stairs to out treatment part. Yuishiro set her onto the bed i directed him to and i started treating her. After i finished, Her eyes where opened but no pupil was seen. "Oh? this is unusual." I said before her pupils where back. She flipped around and she launched at me. "Ah!" I yelped as she attempted to bite me or slash me. Yuishiro hurried downstairs and pushed the girl off of me. She growled and soon hit her head after some wrestling.

"Lady Tamayo are you alright?!" Yuishiro said while crouching down. "Yes. I'm fine." I said before Yuishiro grabbed something to restrain her and put it into her mouth "That was unusual..." i said before lieing her down on the bed she was put on.

It has been a full 2 weeks and the girl hasn't woken up yet. I've went down there and she hasn't moved. But today, She was up and sitting up while crying. "I wanna go home! To Kyojuro, Furuichi and Obanai! Please let me go home!" The girl cried. It was probably a worry for her and her family, But i needed to run some things first. "Can you come upstairs with me?" I asked her. She stood up and followed me up stairs. I the. sat her down and grabbed her hands. "Young girl. You seem to be a demon, but still human. Please promise me that you'll NEVER eat a human." I said to her and she nodded. After a few days i then let her go home Yuishiro escorted her out and she left Asakusa.

SHINJURO POV

"Its been two weeks and Chiaki isn't back. Ive sent Kyojuro to Final selection." I mumbled as Furuichi looked like he was about to cry. Obanai was silently crying. Chiaki's crow then flew Flew to me with a note and Chiaki's snake hair clips. I read the note and smiled to read it out loud. "I'm so sorry! you must be worried about your little girl. She's perfectly fine, She's been in and out of sleep while healing, I'll be sending her back now!" I read the note and the mood lit up "She's ok.." I said with a slight smile.

Another day passed and Chiaki was finally back. Everyone ran up to her and gave her a hug. "I missed you guys!" She smiled as she hugged everyone back.

CHIAKI POV

It only took me a year to climb the ranks for a hashira spot, And they were amazing people,

"Today all of the hashira's have been called here for a new member. You may come out." The master said, I walked out into the clear and looked at each of the hashira. "Uhm.. I- Hello.." I was so intimated by them, They looked so strong and serious. "Oh my! She looks young!" A lady with 2 butterfly clips on each side of her head spoke. "Im Kanae Kocho, Whats your name? It's so exciting to have another girl in the hashiras!" She added on. I was out of words because that was probably the only person who didn't scare me. Then a boy with scars all over him spoke. "Sanemi Shinuzugawa." Everyone introduced their self and i saw Shinjuro there. "My name is- uhm.. Chiaki, Chiaki Iguro. It is a pleasure to meet you all." I smiled and as soon as the master left, Everyone was asking questions about me.
