Chapter 7

Anh stared at the white ceiling above her, she can tell that it's already the dead of the night and she can't sleep. The only thing that she can do inside the room is to sleep or stare at nothingness.

Before she spaces out again, a loud series of knock erupted from the door.
"Come in.."

"Hey, you may have forgotten me but I met you earlier.. I'm Sigma." The dual colored guy said.

"Why are you nervous??" She asked she looked at the tray he's holding.

"I brought your meal here.."

"Uhuh.. Thank you." Her eyes twitched, dinner in the middle of the night?!

"Sorry If I'm late.. There's an issue with our plan." He said.

"They might have discussed it first," she looked at Sigma. "He looks tired too."
"You can leave the food here you know? Rest now I know you're tired from the meetings." She spoke.

Sometimes when she's serving as the emperor's proxy the meeting last for 5 hours and it exhaust the hell out of her so she can understand Sigma.

"Non-sense, I don't even have the time to go home," He sat beside her. "Uhm, is it okay to sit beside you?"

"No problem." The word home rang on her ears. She wished she can also go home.

"Sorry if you're dragged down with us here." The male smiled apologetically.

"I also need to go home.. The agency can't provide any concrete proof that they can send me back so I'm holding on to Fyodor's words." She said hugging her knees.

"If you want, we can go to my Casino. I sort of think of it as my own." he offered. "I'll gain fyodor's approval then we can go."

"Is he okay?"

"You mean.. Fyodor?" he asked and she hummed. "He's fine I guess.. Like the usual passive person he is."

"Oh.. Okay." She stared at her untouched food.

Sigma served her 5 rolls of rice (sushi) and sauce, and a bowl of soup with vegetables there is also a cup of tea and water.

"I'm serious about the Casino.. Let's go have some fun there."

"Yeah.. I'll look forward to that."

The two talked again finding each other's companionship comfortable. After a while, Sigma watch her eat then he left bidding her goodbye.

The routine last for a couple of days and there's still no sign of Fyodor coming to visit her.

Nikolai sometimes visits her giving her a tour around the facility with Sigma. The two also moved a small cabinet full of clothes inside her room and she quickly became comfortable with this new styles.

For someone who is kidnapped, she's a bit comfortable with this.

The pale man stared at his screen. There's movement of someone they can't recognize within Yokohama and they messed up his plan again and again so he decided to revise every part of it.

"I should pay the puppy a little visit next week."

He thought he's over with his fear but the little puppy brought it again. He can't kill her yet.. Maybe next month because he need to drain her of any use first. He can sense that she's a great card against everyone, she'll play a one heck of a game. So he should treat the Lady properly and entertain her.
