Two hours into their celebration the whole bunch of them was a mess despite the sun still being up in the sky, too early to be this drunk. The restaurant was unusual as it served food from all over Asia for the students who attended university here and craved a bit of their home, and at a reasonably cheap price too.
Half of the bunch huddled around a table with dumplings, steamed buns and hotpot as their menu of choice, chattering loudly in a mix of Chinese, Korean and sometimes English too.
Iseul sat by the other table where Jaemin and Johnny grilled samgyeobsal at the two opposite ends to feed the drunk kids.
Jeno was hugging Jaemin and had a permanent pout on his face that was flushed pink from the alcohol while Jisung only scowled at them from his seat beside him.
Mark was sipping on a glass of watermelon juice after being forbidden to drink more alcohol, occasionally talking to the red beverage as if it was his best friend.
Taeil had barely finished one glass of beer and was leaning on to Johnny's shoulder fighting sleep despite a loud Taeyong giggling beside him about everything he sees.
Jungwoo kept doing aegyo and talking nonsense to which Jaehyun joined, his tipsy self becoming more childish and less reserved in terms of cracking adult jokes.
Iseul herself was feeling a bit lightheaded and slurped her cold noodles to fight her grumbling stomach so the man beside her wouldn't hear.
But Donghyuck was too out of it to pay attention to her stomach when his hormones and mind were all over the place and tempting to wander off to dangerous places.
He's been on the edge since they sat down and the girl shrugged off her blazer revealing a lot of skin, making the guys around the table either choke or whistle.
It didn't help that she remembered that there were aprons hidden in the compartments under their seats to protect their clothes and stood up to pull out one.
If there was someone who didn't choke the moment she revealed her top they did now as she leaned down and unintentionally gave all of them a good view of her cleavage.
Maybe it was not nearly as dramatic as the guy made it seem but the already slightly intoxicated bunch couldn't really keep their composure, not that Donghyuck was any better despite being painfully sober.
And from that moment it only became worse each time he brushed against her skin accidentally or when she'd silently hand him some meat that's been cooked.
To escape the constant fluttering of his heart he drank, the alcohol giving him a good excuse for the blush coating his cheeks and calming his jittery movements down a bit.
Now, nursing his fifth bottle of beer his eyes were sparkling, moves a bit uncoordinated but still nowhere near being drunk, just relaxed and clingy.
When Iseul suddenly felt a warm breath tickle her neck she was too busy with the food to react, the empty soju glasses also helping the culprit not getting elbowed in his ribs.
Soon a weight pressed down on her shoulder and an arm snaked itself around her midriff as the guy snuggled up to her.
"Didn't you say you'd stay sober?" Jaemin gave the pink haired boy an amused look before patting his whining best friend on his head.
"M'not drunk, just a bit tipsy. I think I deserve a little drink after acing the show so let me be and worry more about Jeno."
The girl smiled as her eyes went to the buff guy all cuddled up to his best friend like a puppy asking for attention from its owner, finding the duo cuter as the moments pass.
"Yeah, but you will be if you continue like that Hyuck and I don't think it'll end well with both you and Mark being out of it."
Before the tan guy could retort they heard a bang and turned around to find the aforementioned male laying his head on the table with tears streaming down his face as he caressed his now empty glass.
"Is he okay?"
"Mhmm, he's just mourning his lost watermelon. He'll either pass out in the next few minutes or drink a few shots and eventually pass out then."
She listened to the guy's raspy voice explain the situation to her quietly and shudder went through her when his lips accidentally brushed against the skin on her shoulder as he got comfortable.
Her eyes raked over the other table to make sure her own roommate was doing okay only to sigh in relief when she saw him arguing with the wall. He was okay.
Catching a glimpse of the others she had to admit that it would be a pain to get everyone home especially since most of them were already out like a light.
Luckily for them the owner was kind and didn't kick the whole group of piss drunk guys out waiting until Iseul's table finished eating slowly and would help everyone leave.
Jisung and Chenle supported two guys each as they walked towards the dorms following Jaemin and his puppy while Iseul held Renjun by his arm so he wouldn't wander off to fight the bin he's been glaring at, her other shoulder occupied by a clingy pudu.
The guys from the SUFA were piled on top of eachother on a bench while waiting for their rides to arrive, Johnny making sure to record everything with his phone for future blackmail material.
"The rides are here, let's go guys!"
The tall guy dragged and pushed his friends into the back seats of the two cars before giving the girl a wave and taking off with the first vehicle.
Donghyuck unwrapped his arms from around her after giving her a last squeeze and stared at the girl with a lazy smile making her cheeks heat up immediately.
"See you around, Alice." He leaned forward and left a lazy kiss on her lips before turning around and walking to the car, giving a last wave as they departed.
"Wow, I don't pay attention for a moment and here you are sucking face with your crush." Renjun's teasing voice brought her out of the stupor the kiss had sent her into before she squealed loudly in both excitement and horror.
Her best friend chuckled and threw an arm around her shoulder as the two walked towards their apartment after the eventful day, occasionally stopping for Renjun to curse at random objects for "being too obvious with their disguise".
