Y/N was picking up a bright blue egg with green and white swirls. Her eyes sparkled in excitement. A pair of green eyes are hidden in the bushes watching the girl, grins at the sight. The Easter Bunny.
SNAP!
The child turns to the source of the sound. The Easter Bunny cringes, realizing that he has given away his cover. The girl circles the bush, catching sight of blue-grey fur and green orbs.
"Bunny?"
E. Aster Bunnymund blinks at the h/c, h/l hair, e/c eye girl, "Hello, ankle-biter." Y/N giggles at the nickname, "Why are you hiding?" Bunnymund grins at the curious child. Reaching into his basket, he pulls out a large egg, "This is not a regular egg, ankle-biter. Take it home and crack it open." Bunnymund instructed, sticking the rainbow-colored egg in her basket. Y/N nods her head with a cheeky grin, "Okay, Bunny!" Before she turned around to leave, Y/N locked eyes with the Pooka and hugged him, "Will I see you again, Bunny?"
Bunnymund smiles down at the young child and runs his paw over her hair, "One day, Y/N. One day." Standing up, Bunnymund hops off, leaving the child in awe. Y/N turns around and runs back home with the special egg in her basket. Reaching her small home, Y/N runs into her room and sets the eggs down. Carefully, she takes out the rainbow egg.
Taking the egg, Y/N spots a crack. Pushing her finger against it, the crack enlarges. The shell breaks apart and falls off. Inside the egg was a chocolate egg with caramel swirls, "Yummy!" Y/N grins at the goodness. Watching outside her house, Bunnymund smiles as she is filled with hope. The moon appears and seems to have shone on the girl. MiM watches her as well, knowing her path.
