Pitch Black had secretly watched you and Bunnymund over the years. He has been planning a way to break the Guardians once and for all. You continued believing in the Guardians with all your heart, but your hope dwindled. Your family began to treat you less as a daughter and more as a maid. But you refused to give up on hope. Finally, once you reached the middle age of being a teen, Pitch made his move.
You had just gotten out of school. Another day of bullies, angry teachers, and a backpack full of homework. Yep, that's life.
As you walked down the sidewalk in the wintery cold, the Moon shone behind you, seeming to keep an eye on you. You slipped on earbuds, listening to f/b (favorite band), unaware of golden eyes watching you. After a few minutes, you instantly stopped walking. Then, coming to your senses, you removed your buds and turned around.
You notice something move in the darkness of the night, and in an instant red flag flashes in your mind. Before you can step back, a chilling voice is heard behind your ear, "Hello, Y/N..." Your spine tingled, and goosebumps appeared. Too afraid to turn around, you swallowed hard. The owner of the voice grabbed your wrist and spun you around to them.
"P-Pitch Black...!" You have heard of the Boogyman but never expected to see him. Pitch's yellow eyes pierced into your own, and a malicious grin appears, revealing sharply pointed teeth, "Yes, child," He responds, "I have been waiting to meet you for some time now."
You tried to act brave, hiding the fear that built up inside you, "What do you want, Pitch?" You growled. Pitch's smile seemed to have widened, "I want you." The darkness around the two of you seemed to close around, hiding Pitch's face before his eyes vanished. You opened your mouth to call out, "Bunnymund!" But it sounded like your voice echoed around you.
"Your precious Guardian of Hope can't save you, Y/N," Pitch utters in the darkness, "You are no longer under the protection of the moon." The Moon shone brighter, searching for you.

Y/N POV:
I shuttered at what Pitch Black had said. I felt cold and wrapped my arms around myself, "Bunny..." I mutter. I looked around, but nothing could be seen. I wanted to go home to Bunnymund. I curled up, not knowing how long Pitch had me in the darkness.
"Poor, poor child," I hear Pitch speak, "Do you want to know how long you've been in my darkness?" I snapped my head around, searching for the Boogeyman, "Where are you, Pitch!?" I snarled. Pitch chuckles darkly, "I am everywhere. Interesting to see that Man in Moon can't find you. Nor your Guardian of Hope."
I growled and moved to stand, but something grabbed my legs and arms, "Huh?!" Looking down, I see black sand wrapping around like rope on my wrists and ankles. Appearing from the blackness is Pitch and a few horses.
"Now, you will tell me everything you know about that rabbit. His weaknesses, and strengths."
I struggled against the black sand, feeling them cutting against my skin, "Why should I tell you anything?" I grunted. Pitch brings the horse closer to me. I gazed at its yellow eyes and realized that it was black sand.
"My Nightmare will make you have wonderful dreams." Pitch grins before allowing the Nightmare to jump on me. I screamed as it lunged at me, "BUNNYMUND!"
Nightmare:
I was back at my home. Everything was quiet, and no one was around. I felt my heart pound against my ribs, racing with fear. Something was wrong, and I wouldn't say I liked it. I moved to my room; no one. The living room, dining room, and even the rec room were empty. I spun to the backyard. The Moon was shining but wasn't as bright as before.
I cautiously exited the house and saw a large lump of blue-grey fur on the ground, "Bunnymund?" I approached him carefully, spotting blood and broken boomerangs around him, "No..." I kneeled down and touched his fur.
Cold to the touch.
"Tell me his strengths and weaknesses, Y/N. And Bunnymund will live." Pitch's voice echoes around the backyard. I stood up from the ground and glared around me. If this is Pitch's way of playing, I can do better. I growled, searching for the menace, "You will never get me to talk!" I will do everything I can to protect the Guardians from Pitch.
The scene around me disappears, and Bunny's body fades into the darkness. I turn around to see Pitch glare at me, "We'll see about that!"
I blinked to see a black, dead tree in place of where Pitch stood. Hanging on the tree was Bunnymund. A rope wrapped around his neck, and his body was limp. "Tell me. NOW!" Pitch screams in the Nightmare. I covered my ears and eyes, "I won't tell you anything!"
Over and over, the scene changes, showing Bunnymund dead by my feet. Sometimes my parents. I tried to shut Pitch out of my head, refusing to tell him anything about the Guardians, their strengths, or their weaknesses.
Don't give in, don't give in!
It felt like days when fighting the nightmares. Pitch Black appears one last time to me, "You think you can protect the Guardians?" I felt weak and collapsed on my knees, "Till I am dead!" I growled.
Pitch Black seemed to think deeply, "Well then, I will give you that wish." Then, summoning a scythe made of black sand, Pitch smiles, revealing his sharp teeth, "You can't protect them if you are dead." I close my eyes waiting for my death. Pitch brings the scythe down, and searing pain hits my back.
Nightmare End:
I gasped and opened my eyes to see the Moon hovering above me. I lay there in confusion. What happened? Who am I? I stood up and noticed that I wasn't wearing anything. I felt my face flush and curled my arms around myself. "Guardian Angel..." A male spoke, making me jump.
I glanced up at the Moon in surprise, "Y-yes?"
"Your name is Y/N L/N. The Guardian Angel. You protect the Guardians who watch over the children of the world." The Moon spoke. The Guardians? Who are the Guardians? I spun around to see a white dress hanging to dry by someone's window. Taking it, I slipped it on. The Moon said no more.
I began walking away until I felt a tug against my back. Glimpsing over my shoulder, I see two large wings on my back. A gasp escaped, and I sprinted to a lake nearby. The wings opened up, and I looked at my reflection. On one side of my wing were a candy cane and a swirl. On the other wing were a tooth and a snowflake. I carefully closed my wings to see an egg appear. Then, opening my wings, the egg seems to have opened up. I did this a few times in awe.
I took off in the air with a laugh, "Haha!" I flew to a nearby town and landed. Folks were walking and talking. I approach a young child, "Excuse me? Could you-" I stopped talking as the child went through me. I gasped in shock and watched as more people passed through me, "Hello?" I backed away and out of the town.
