At Canterbury, England, the children are searching for the eggs, "There aren't any eggs... There's nothing here. I give up, come on. Let's go. He didn't come. I don't understand." Bunny was hiding in the bush, watching in worry.

A girl was sitting on a picnic table, "Maybe he just hid them really well this year."

Bunny jumps out of the bush, "Kids, wait--" He runs up between the last two kids with a basket.

A boy turns to the girl, "I checked everywhere. There's nothing."

Bunny waves his paw at them, "--Yes there is! There is! I mean these aren't my best-lookin' googies, but they'll do in a pinch!" He holds them out to the two kids.

The girl jumps down, "I can't believe it--"

"I- I know." Bunny chuckles ruefully.

The girl looks down sadly, "--there's no such thing as the Easter Bunny."

Bunny reels back, "What? No!"

The boy sighs, "Easter's over--"

"Wrong! Not- not true! I'm- I'm right in front of ya', mate!" The boy passes through Bunny, and he starts gasping in despair, "They don't see me... They don't see me..." He crumples over, crying softly. Y/N lands next to him and rests her hand on his shoulder. Jack appears on the scene, visibly concerned, and watches as Tooth approaches Bunny and Y/N.

North calls out to Jack, getting his attention, "Jack! Where were you? The Nightmares attacked the tunnels; they smashed every egg, crushed every basket - nothing made it to the surface!" Tooth flies over, "Jack!" She notices the tooth box and gasps, "Where did you get that?"

"I was- It's, uh--" Jack stutters. Bunny and Y/N turn around to see Tooth horrified and North angry, "That is why you weren't here? You were with Pitch?" Jack shakes his head, "No, listen! Listen!" He sighs, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean for this to happen!"

Bunny stood up, "He has to go."

Jack turns to face Bunny, "What?"

Bunny towers over Jack, "We should never have trusted you!" Bunny looks heartbroken, and betrayed, then shakes his head, "Easter is... new beginnings, new life. Easter's about Hope. And now it's gone." He turns and shuffles away. He curls on the ground; his ears pulled back. Y/N bends down to his side and brushes his fur.

Jack turns around, but North and Tooth turn away from him. Jack pulls out the wooden baby from North's nesting doll and drops it in the grass.

In Burgess, outside of Jamie's house,  Jamie is trying to reach for an egg in the gutter of his rooftop, but he loses his balance on the ladder and only breaks his fall by clinging to the gutter as it's pulled off. He shouts as he crashes to the ground. Jamie looks up, but the 'egg' turns out to be a colorful tennis ball.

He stands up, "Let's check that park again!" Caleb groans, "Really?" Claude steps next to his brother, "For what? The Easter Bunny?"

Jamie holds his basket, "Guys, I told you! I saw him! He's way bigger than I thought! And he's got these cool boomerang things."

Caleb and Claude groan, "Ugh, grow up Jamie..."

"Oh man, seriously?"

Jamie's friends stand around in a half-circle, looking incredibly downtrodden.

"What's happened to you guys?" Jamie asks in worry. Caleb sighs, "It was a dream! You should be happy you still get dreams like that and not..." Cupcake finishes Caleb's statement with a downcast look, "Nightmares." The kids all turn away.

Pippa drops Jamie's ball in the basket, "Forget it, Jamie. There's just no Easter this year."

"He really is real! ... I know he is." Jamie sighs, looking at the ball.
