Y/N POV:
It has been a few days since Easter, and I met the Easter Bunny himself! The egg he gave me had a gift hidden in the chocolate, an egg-shaped charm necklace. I sprinted back to where I met Bunny in my plastic angel wings. I searched for evidence of him being around but didn't see anything. Finally, I groaned and crossed my arms with a pout.
"What's with the face, ankle-biter?"
I spun around and saw Bunny behind me. I grinned, "Bunny!" I laughed, and the Easter Bunny chuckled as I threw myself into his fluffy arms, "Did ya like your gift?" He spoke. I nodded and stepped back, getting a better view of him. He had a leather strap on his back and two boomerangs. On his wrists were warrior cuffs and wraps on his back paws. I looked closer at his fur, noticing strange patterns on them. A few, I spotted, looked like eggs.
"Bunny, what markings are those on your fur?" I questioned in curiosity.
The Easter Bunny chuckles before lowering to my level, "Ankle-biter, these markings mean I am a warrior. The eggs," He points to one of the egg markings on his arm, "mean that I bring Hope to you on Easter."
"Hope?" I brush my fingers over the egg tattoo.
"Easter is about Hope-new beginnings in life," Bunny answered. I gaze back up at him, "New beginnings..." I repeated, my hand slowly removed from his arm, "Bunny, if Easter is about new beginnings, how come it doesn't feel like that?"
The Easter Bunny looks confused, his long ears twitching, "What do you mean?" I sighed, "Everything didn't feel like it would be a new beginning for me. Every day, it feels dull; lifeless..." I paused, watching Bunny gently bump his nose against my own, making me giggle. "Don't ever say that it is lifeless, ankle-biter." He mutters quietly before pulling away. I watch him smile, and before hopping off, he waves, "See ya, ankle-biter."

No POV:
Bunnymund has visited Y/N every few days, ensuring she kept her hope high. Likewise, MiM made sure that the visits were frequent. And Bunnymund knew it.
"Bunnymund!"
The Pooka glimpses to see Y/N running towards him with a loopy grin, "Bunnymund!" Bunnymund chuckles and lifts the girl, "Hey, ankle-biter. How was school?" He sits on the ground in Y/N's backyard. The h/c-haired girl's grin drops instantly, making the Pooka concerned, "Y/N?"
"They were bullying me again." She answered bluntly. Her eyes lowered to the green grass, her hands picking at the blades. Bunnymund gently picks the girl up and sets her on his lap, "Again?"
"Bunny, why do they hate me?" Y/N snaps her head at the Pooka, surprising him with that question. Bunnymund brushes her hair behind her ear, trying to come up with an answer. But, unfortunately, the tears were already flowing down her cheeks.
"They- they don't hate you, ankle-biter. They're just... jealous of you." Bunnymund finally answers, looking down at her. Y/N stares at him in disbelief, "Jealous? Why?" Ahh... she got him there. Bunnymund looks up to see the moon above them, "Because... you have a guardian visiting you." He looks down at her with a smile. Y/N giggles, then laughs, "Hahahaha!"
Bunnymund joins in and holds her against his chest, "Bunny, are there Guardian Angels?" Y/N ponders out loud after a moment of silence. Bunnymund holds her closer, "There hasn't been a Guardian Angel, ankle-biter. Why do you ask?"
Y/N peers up at the Australian Pooka, "If you protect the children, who protect you? If there's no Guardian Angel, then how are you, and the other Guardians safe?" Bunnymund blinks at the girl in shock. She had asked a fair question.
"I-I don't know, Y/N..."
The girl grins at the Pooka, "Well if I were a Guardian like you, I would be a Guardian Angel. I would protect you while you protect the children." Bunnymund smiles down at the child, "And I'm sure you will do great."
MiM watches the Pooka play with the girl, lifting her in the air as he is on his back, Y/N on his legs. Y/N has her arms out in the air, pretending that she was flying. Her fake angel wings bounce in the air as Bunnymund tosses her, making her squeal in delight. The Man in Moon grins, "She already is a Guardian."
