Bunnymund x Guardian Angel

The Warren

The group is sliding down Bunny's tunnel. Jack is surfing/skating, Tooth is hovering along with the pile, and Bunny is bounding ahead of everyone with Y/N on his back. The rest land in a heap at the bottom of the tunnel. Bunny stops and sets Y/N down.

North sits up with an amused look, "Ah ha ha. Buckle up. Is very funny."

Bunny grins and gestures to the Warren as Sentinal Eggs move forward, "Hehe. Welcome to the Warren." He sits up alert, turning towards the first tunnel - his ears perk up, and his nose twitches, "Something's up."

A horde of Bunny's undecorated eggs come running out of the tunnel, so he gets into a battle-ready stance. Then everyone else does too. Bunny's Easter Island Sentinel Eggs spin their faces around to look mean. What sounded like Nightmares came through the tunnels, and Bunny starts screaming first as he rushes forward, followed by the others. Sophie comes running out of the tunnel from the inner Warren, screaming along with them until they all quiet down. She is holding some of the unpainted Easter eggs.

Y/N stood there in shock, "Sophie?"

The Guardians laugh nervously as they put away their combat gear. Sophie coos and chases one of the elves. Bunny spins to North, "What is she doing here?" He panics. North pats himself down, "Uhh... snowglobe." The Yetis murmur.

"Crikee, somebody do something!"

Jack backs up and holds his hands up, "Well, don't look at me, I'm invisible, remember?" Sophie pulls the elf by the hat, "Elf, elf." Tooth glances at Bunny, "Don't worry, Bunny. I bet she's a ~Fairy Fan~!" Sophie gasps in excitement, "It's okay, little one." Tooth flies over Sophie. 

"Pretty!"

"Ohh! You know what? I've got something ~for you~!" Tooth holds out her hand, "Here it is! Look at all the ~pretty teeth~! ~With little blood and gum on them~!" Y/N groans as Sophie runs away, sobbing.

Jack chuckles, "Blood and gums?" North shrugs. Jack lands on a rock, "When was the last time you guys actually hung out with kids?" Sophie is chasing more unpainted eggs under the Easter Island rock Jack perched on, "Peek-a-boo!"

North shrugs, "We are very busy bringing joy to children! We don't have time..." Sophie runs around laughing, "for children." Bunny and Tooth look apprehensive at North's statement. I giggled at their reaction, "No time for children? Then how did you get time to spend with me, Bunny?"

"Hm. If one little kid can ruin Easter, then... we're in worse shape than I thought." Jack makes one snowflake that floats on the wind. "Whee!" Sophie chases after the snowflake, which ends up on Bunny's nose. Bunny's nose twitches, then he smiles with Jack's power's help.

"Whee whee!" Sophie laughs before stopping next to the Guardian Angel. She turns her head to Y/N and gasps, "Angel! Angel!" The child touches her wings and looks at them in awe. Y/N grins at her, "Hi, Sophie." She picks up the child and follows Bunnymund to the Inner Warren.

Sophie and Bunny watch as a brand new white egg with feet emerges from a plant, walking and jumping around. Bunny glances at the girl, "You wanna paint some eggs? Yeah?" Sophie jumps around excitedly, "Okay!"

"Come on then."

An army of little white eggs with feet starts marching down a hill. North puts his hands on his sides, "Rimsky-Korsakov! That's a lot of eggs!"

Jack is perching on top of his staff, "Uh, how much time do we have?"

Y/N flies beside Sophie as she is riding on Bunny's back as they dart around the eggs.

"Whee!"

"Hoo-ooh!" Bunny joins Sophie's laughter. Y/N giggles and joins them under the sounds of flowers dusting the eggs with their undercoat colors.

Bunny makes his announcement, "All right, troops, it's time to push back!" Sophie giggles as the eggs move her down the hill and North waves to her, "That means eggs everywhere! Heaps of you in every high rise, farmhouse, and trail'r park! In tennis shoes and cereal bowls! Oh, there'll be bathtubs filled with my beautiful googies!" Bunny shouts excitingly. Y/N lands next to him and peck's his cheek.

"Y/N?" Bunny faces her with a grin. "I remember you let me do this with you those years ago," Y/N whispers.

"Hehe. I remember you painted an angel on an egg. Speaking of which," Bunny holds out a blue egg with white wings painted on it. Y/N takes the egg, noticing a crack between the wings.

"Open 'er up, ankle-biter."

The Guardian Angel presses on the crack and the shell falls off, revealing a chocolate egg with caramel swirls, "Bunny..."

"Just like when you were nine." Bunny murmurs before picking up a group of eggs.

North picks an egg up from the river, seeing its legs kick, "Okay, that's little strange."

"No, mate." Bunny's cradling a half dozen of his painted googies, "That's adorable." An elf climbs out, delighted at how he's all painted up.

Bunny takes Y/N's hand, "There will be Springtime! On every continent." He hops onto one rock and lifts his arms into the air, "And I'm bringing Hope with me!"

The eggs slide through some plants with iridescent paint secreting from them, so that they have spirals and swirls on them too. The painted elf now has designs on him as well. One yeti is entertained and starts painting eggs a rich red.

"Too Christmas-y, mate. Paint 'em blue." Bunny passes by in a blur. The yeti is exasperated and keels over. He has a whole stack painted red, the same as with the robots at the Pole.

Bunny lands near the Dispatch area where Sophie is, "Ooh, what's over there?"

Sophie walks over and picks up one fully painted egg, "Whoa ho ho!" She holds it up for Bunny to see.

Bunny chuckles, "Oh oh oh! That's a beauty! Now, all we gotta do is get him and his little mates through the tunnels, to the top, and we'll have ourselves Easter." He holds her hand and leads her out to see all of the eggs heading into the tunnels, then sits on his haunches next to her. Y/N lands next to Bunny and silently watches the eggs march.

Jack comes up to crouch beside the three of them on the Dispatch Hill. Sophie sleepily crawls into Bunny's arms. Jack nods his head, "Not bad." Sophie coos as Bunny looks at him, "Not bad, yourself."

Jack bashfully looks away, "Ah, look, I- I'm sorry about the whole- you know, the "kangaroo" thing?"

Bunny snorts, "It's the accent, isn't it?"

They both chuckle a little as North and Tooth show up. Y/N looks at Sophie, "Ah, poor little ankle-biter. Look at 'er, all tuckered out." Bunny smiles at her as Tooth lowers to her level, "I love her." Baby Tooth chitters, and Sophie coos, "I think it's time to get her home."

Jack stood up, "How about I take her home?"

"Jack, no, Pitch is out there--" Tooth starts as Y/N takes Sophie. "No match for this." Jack holds up his staff. Bunny frowns, "Which is why we need you here, with us."

"Trust me, I'll be quick as a bunny." Jack makes finger-walking motions. Y/N hands Sophie to Jack, and they watch him take off with Baby Tooth. Y/N flies to the center of the Warren, landing next to the rainbow river.

A thump of a rabbit's feet approaches  behind her, "You have tattoos on your wings." Y/N hums and turns to Bunnymund.

"I believe they are the Guardians' symbols. Tooth for the Tooth Fairy. Candy Cane for North. A swirl of Dreams for Sandy. And Snowflake for Jack Frost. Yours, Bunnymund," Y/N closes her wings to reveal the Easter Egg, "is in the center."

North and Tooth appeared with a frantic look, "Nightmares in the tunnels!" Bunnymund grabs his boomerangs, "Crikee!"
