After months, Ditya was feeling lost and confused. She had never been in a situation like this before. Rifan only calls her past midnight, on weekdays. Maybe in the other time, it was for Tiara.
She confused of who the true 'side chick' was. She needed answers.
Ditya decided to confront Rifan. She called Rifan in the midnight.
"Ditya, what's going on?" Rifan asked.
"I need to know where I stand, Rifan. I can't keep living in this limbo," Ditya said, trying to keep her emotions in check.
"I know, Ditya. And I'm sorry for putting you through this. It's just that Tiara has been through a lot and I don't want to hurt her," Rifan said, looking down at his hands.
"What about me, Rifan? What about my feelings?" Ditya asked, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I care about you, Ditya. I really do. But I can't just abandon Tiara. She needs me," Rifan said.
Ditya sighed, feeling defeated. "I understand, Rifan. But I can't keep waiting for you to make a decision. I need to move on with my life."
"I'm sorry, Ditya. I never meant to hurt you."
Ditya nodded, wiping away her tears. "I know. But I need to do what's best for me. Don't call me ever again, Rifan."
Rifan tried to talk to her, to explain that he was sorry for leading her on, but Ditya couldn't bear to hear it. She had been hurt too many times by him, and she knew she couldn't take it anymore. She walked away from him, tears streaming down her face, and vowed to never let him hurt her again.

One day, Ditya was scrolling through her social media feed when she saw a post from Rifan. It was a picture of him and Tiara, and the caption read "She said yes! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Ditya felt her heart drop. She knew she shouldn't have been stalking him on social media, but she couldn't help herself.
She couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy and betrayal. She had always thought that Rifan was the one who understood her the most, but now she realized that he had been playing with her heart all along.
The realization that Rifan had chosen someone else over her was too much to bear. She felt like her heart had been ripped out of her chest. She had given Rifan so much of her time and energy, only to be left with nothing but memories.
Ditya tried to move on from Rifan (again), but it was hard. She still thought about him every day. She spent most of her time in bed, crying and scrolling through old pictures of her and Rifan and messages of his promises. She tried to distract herself with work, but her mind kept wandering back to him. She knew that she couldn't go back to him, not after everything he had put her through. But her heart still yearned for him, and it was a battle she was losing.
Ditya was heartbroken. All this time, she had kept her love for Rifan untold, hoping that one day they would be together. But that day would never come.
Rifan had been the one who got away, and Ditya couldn't help but feel regret for not confessing her love earlier. She couldn't believe that Rifan had moved on so quickly after all they had been through together.
With a heavy heart, Ditya decided to unfollow Rifan on social media and delete all of their pictures together.
She felt lost and alone, wondering if she would ever find love again.
As she closed the chapter on Rifan, Ditya realized that sometimes, love isn't enough. It takes honesty, trust, and communication to make a relationship work. And while Rifan may have been her first love, he was not her last.
