Ditya stood at the edge of a cliff, the wind blowing through her hair. She gazed out at the ocean, the waves crashing against the rocks below. It had been three years since she had last seen Rifan, but his memory still lingered in her heart.

She had tried to move on, to forget him and the pain he had caused her. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was still incomplete without him.

Ditya had learned to live with the pain, but it had never fully healed. And now, standing here alone, she realized that she needed to let go of Rifan once and for all.

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, feeling the breeze on her face. It was time to move on, to find her own happiness.

As she turned to leave, she saw a figure standing behind her. It was Rifan.

"Ditya," he said, his voice shaking. "I didn't know you were here."

She turned to face him, feeling her heart pounding in her chest.

"I came here to let go," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rifan took a step closer to her, his eyes filled with pain and regret.

"Ditya, I'm so sorry," he said. "I know I hurt you, and I regret it every day. I never should have let you go."

Ditya looked at him, tears streaming down her face.

"It's too late, Rifan," she said, her voice choking on the words. "I can't keep holding on to something that's not there. I need to let go and find my own happiness."

Rifan looked at her, his own eyes filling with tears.

"I understand," he said, his voice barely audible.

They stood there in silence for a moment, the wind blowing around them.

"I hope you find what you're looking for, Ditya," Rifan said finally.

Ditya nodded, a small smile appearing on her face.

"Thank you, Rifan," she said. "Goodbye."

And with that, she turned and walked away, leaving Rifan standing there alone.

Ditya knew that letting go of Rifan would be one of the hardest things she would ever do. But she also knew that it was necessary for her own happiness.

As she walked away, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. It was time to let go of the past and embrace the future, whatever it may hold.

---

Ditya woke up from her dream, her heart pounding in her chest. Rifan had never come back into her life, and he probably never would. She felt a sense of disappointment wash over her as she realized that she had been clinging onto a hope that was never going to be realized.

She lay there for a few minutes, trying to calm her breathing and get her thoughts in order.

Ditya went to check her phone to distract her mind. As she scrolled through her social media feed, she saw that it was a big day for Rifan - he had just become a father.

She looked at the pictures of Rifan holding his newborn baby. She couldn't help but wonder what could have been if things had turned out differently between them.

End.
