Tanjiro runs out of the building, going onto the roof, trying to find Muichiro.
"Tanjiro? " a questioning voice says.
Tanjiro looks back in surpise. It was just Kanao.
"What are you doing on the roof? " Kanao asks.
"Looking for Muichiro," Tanjiro says.
"Why? "
"I'm hoping he's safe. "
"... "
"Kanao? " Tanjiro asks.
'The sun is going to come up soon.. ' "Tanjiro I got to go.. I'll see you later, " "Kanao" says running off.
With Muichiro...
Muichiro runs back into where the others are.
"Where were you? I know you weren't on a mission, " Enmu says.
"Seeing someone, " Muichiro says, transforming out of Kanao.
"A human? "
"No."
"Then why are you disguised as a human? "
"... " Muichiro stays silent.
"Could you possibly be seeing someone you're in love with? " Enmu teases.
"Tch, as if. "
"Whatever" Enmu scoffs, walking away.
Back with Tanjiro...
'I wonder where Kanao is.. ' Tanjiro thought to himself, still with the events from just hours before flooding his mind. 'There she is! '
"Kanao!"
"Hm? Tanjiro? " Kanao says, seeing the young boy sprinting towards her.
"About last night on the roof, -"
"What do you mean? I wasn't on a roof last night, " Kanao says.
"Then where were you? " Tanjiro questions.
"I was training with Shinobu.. "
"Who was I talking to..? "
"It might be the work of a blood demon art, " Kanao suggests.
"We need a plan. "
