Chapter 13

"How.. " Shinobu mumbled.

Tanjiro started crying and bent down to hug Muichiro.

"I'm so happy.. " Tanjiro smiled while in tears.

Tanjiro picked up Muichiro and started walking away, leaving the stunned Shinobu standing there. Tanjiro walked into Butterfly Mansion and placed Muichiro onto a bed to let him rest comfortably.

Later

Muichiro woke up and looked around the room with confusion.

'Where am I..? ' Muichiro thought.

"Muichiro! You're awake! " Tanjiro said.

Muichiro blushed in surprise, not expecting to see Tanjiro.

"Tanjiro.. ? What are you doing here? "

"Well, I have something to tell yo- "

"TOKITO, " a random voice said.

Mitsuri ran into the room, looking very worried. Tanjiro was extremely confused to see that Mitsuri was alive.

"Mitsuri?! How are you alive?? " Tanjiro asked in shock.

"Ah! That.. It was some super weak demon who somehow looked like me, " Mitsuri claimed.

Muichiro looked at her with an annoyed expression on his face, telling her to get out for she just intrupted Tanjiro.

"Oh my! I'll be leaving then! " Mitsuri said.

Muichiro looked back to Tanjiro, smiling and then said, "I'm sorry, you were saying? "

Tanjiro smiled back saying, "Muichiro.. I love you. That's what I was wanting to tell you.. "

Muichiro froze, his face red from being flustered. He had no idea what to say, he never thought this day would come.

"Tanjiro.. Come here.. "

Tanjiro walked over by Muichiro. Muichiro pulled Tanjiro down and then kissed him. Tanjiro was shocked at first but then he started kissing back. They both pulled back and Muichiro said, "I love you too, Tanjiro. "

Tanjiro started crying and embraced Muichiro in a warm hug, burying his face in his shoulder.

"I love you so much, Muichiro.. "
