just two steps to go

We sat on the swings and felt the cold breeze pass through our faces as we swinged slowly. The sky was mesmerizing.

I love how the sun and the moon both come to the horizon together. Both the contrasting celestial objects seem so appropriate for being together in the sky making it look even more amazing.

The luminescence of the full moon increased every minute as the sun drowned down the horizon.

We kept gazing at the sky but then our attention moved backwards as we heard jingling of bells. It was an icecream seller. Taehyung eyed me indicating to go to the icecream stall.

I was about to deny but he pulled me to the icecream stall.

"Which flavour do you like?"he asked me.

"I am fine thankyou. You buy it for yourself and let's head to our homes then."I said.

"How could I have it alone when the one who is paying for it does not have it?"he said smirking at me.

"I am not paying for it."

"Yes ,you are."

He said and ordered two chocolate icecreams. My pocket money is going to be washed away due to this kid for sure, I thought to myself ,but paid for the icecream anyways.

I walked towards him making an angry face. "Why that angry face now. You are my friend so don't sulk for a stupid ice cream."he said offering me one of the icecream cones.

I took the cone and we started to walk,"I am not sulking Ok. You teared my  assignment and then made me pay for the ice cream.
My legs are also hurting because of you. How do you  expect me to behave like?"I said.

My eyes became a little watery at the fact that I was frustrated. Why in the world do I cry when I am supposed to be angry. He noticed me and stood infront of me. I stood there seeing him blocking my way.

"What now, let me go home quick. I am already too late because of you."I said and tried to move away. But then he turned back and bent down a little.

"Come,I will give you a ride on my back till our ways part."he said looking forward.

I hesitated a bit." Will I have to threaten you for this too crybaby?"he said stiffly.
I climbed his back quickly but carefully then he started walking.

"She looks like a blue parrot,would you come fly to me, I wish you good day,good day,good day hmm...hmmmmm

Looks like a winter bear,you sleep so happily....."he started singing a melody. It fitted so well for his deep voice. I just kept quiet and listened to his beautiful voice.

My head rested on the crook of his neck and my hands on his shoulder. He carefully holded me and walked along the streets.

I felt like this moment never ended but it did. We reached the path where our ways parted. He gently put me down.

"Thanks for the ride,your shoulders must be hurting"I said looking at him massaging his shoulders already.
"I am strong,even though you weigh like a cow I don't have any issues"he said and laughed a little.
I smacked his chest.

"Now go. Bye bye."

"I don't like bye bye"he said.

And then we walked to our ways.

Taehyung's POV:

After we parted our ways I headed home and kept on thinking about her on the way.

She is really different. I didn't found her clinging on me like others. She is so pure with her emotions.

I reminisced the moment I noticed her first time.Today I noticed her first time but it was really a breath taking moment.
I saw her sitting in the corner desk alone and her black hairs tied in a half ponytail.

Her face was looking down and her eyes never left the low gaze. The free strands of her hairs made her flawless tan face even more beautiful.

The crowd seemed to be disappearing somewhere when I caught her sight.
Her black almond eyes were so intense that they were enough to captivate any person's attention.

But the spects hide those beautiful eyes of her like a curtain hiding a beautiful painting.

I didn't realise I already reached home thinking about her and smiling to myself.

"Taehyungah,son you are back home. Why are you so late today?"my mom said as she saw me coming in the house.

She was in the kitchen. I quickly went towards her and hugged her. She chuckled at my softness.

"Amma I am too much hungry. It smells so nice. Seems like something tasty is waiting for me. "I said sniffing and searching for food.

"The food is ready but first you need to go wash up. I will set the dining table till then."she said. I nodded and headed to my room for a quick shower.

After fifteen minutes I washed myself up and changed into my grey pyjamas and black t-shirt. I quickly headed to the dining area where mom-dad were already waiting for me.

We sat together and started eating the tasty gimbap eomma made. We chatted along with eating and laughed at so many instances.

It feels so good being at home everyday with your family. But today an other thought is also revolving in my mind. The thought of Dasom.

I finished my dinner and went upstairs.I laid down on my bed. I kept thinking about every word she said and every moment I saw her face expressions.

She is really something and I love how she gets irritated by me. I smiled at her cute furious expressions and gradually drifted to sleep.

Walk with me two steps then we will walk to our own paths,
Bye...bye...good night...
Come to meet me tomorrow and walk two more steps with me.
Then we head to our ways back,
Come along with me everyday two more steps..
walk with me till we walk forever together and our paths never part.
Bye..bye..good night....
