Malfoy Manor, late July 1993.

A man with long white hair sat behind a desk. He tapped his forefinger in time with the clock. A girl with the same hair stood stiffly in-front of him. In her hands held two books.

"Have you read them?"

The girl nodded, walking forwards four steps to place them on the desk and then walking two steps backwards. The man stopped tapping his finger, pointed it and the middle finger at her, and flicked them from left to right.

A small, dry cough involuntarily erupted from the girl's mouth. She brought her pale hand up to rub her throat.

"Answer me this. How can you stop a legilimens entering your mind?"

"Legilimency can be repelled by occlucmency. There are two methods: clearing your mind or creating a false layer of mentality."

The girl croaked out these words, occasionally stopping to cough. The man seated behind the desk smiled smugly.

"We have until September."

Hi everyone! Thank-you for choosing to read this book, I promise it will get better as it goes along (I hope).

This scene is a small flashback to the start of the Summer. If it isn't obvious the man is Lucius and the girl is Carina. It won't make much sense or have much point until later on in the story, but it is important.

I really hope you'll learn to love all the characters in this book, and all of the ships. I will be using both canon and non canon compliant ideas in this (check the tags). My aim of this book is to make you guys cry so slay ig.
