Lucius sat in his usual armchair near the fireplace in the slytherin common room, he was, well, pretty confused. the funeral must have ended like what ? Hours and hours ago ? And where the f*ck is Severus ?
His eyes scanned the room for one last time, confirming his suspicion that Severus was indeed not here and avoiding him.
So he decided to walk the familiar hallway to Severus dormitory.
He knocked,
And the person answer the door was... one of Severus dorm mates. And that boy look scared for his life looking up at a annoyed Lucius
"Good evening" Lucius said silkily barely concealing his annoyance, " where is Severus?"
"Um- um he s-said if we don't leave him alone, he will hang us upside down by by our- uh never mind" [A/N : I really don't know where I got this from 😅 if u gets it]

Well Lucius' annoyance grew, he usually gets what he want and he won't expect this.
Lucius push past the boy and ignoring his stuttering protest
He pushed the curtains of Severus closed bed hangings open
"Go away ! I already warned you! I know a curse that can hang you from the ceiling by your co-"
Severus stopped abruptly when he saw it was Lucius who was really trying to conceal his laughter, a funny expression on his face
Severus felt his face warming up, f*ck I did not just said that to Lucius Malfoy
Instead, he put on a serious expression and said , " Lucius! What are you doing here!"
"Check on you of course, and make sure you don't do any damages to anyone's cock" Lucius replied probably trying to lighten the mood.
However Severus don't have time to listen to all that shit. The even from a few hours ago still shaken him
"I m not in the mood for jokes, go away "
Suddenly, something inside Lucius snapped too like severus' had before.
" Severus! Just LISTEN to me for once! Why are you so f*cking oblivious! Don't you realize why I care about you so much?! I like you! No! Severus ! I f*cking LOVE you!"

That just slipped.
That was definitely not what Lucius think a ideal confessing situation is.
