[ trigger warning: panic attack, blood, self harm]

Severus shot up in his bed. Drenching with sweat

No, he had not had another nightmare.

Instead, it was about las night.

Severus looked over at the clock. It is.... 6:04 much too early to go to breakfast. He rest his head on his hand while his mind spun.

Ok, it is just a kiss! Just a harmless kiss!

But it is with Lucius Malfoy though!

Just a kiss. Doesn't mean he likes you

But he kissed you! He must like you!

Or what if...

Severus looked up abruptly, staring into the green curtains that is drawn closed around his bed.

What if he is just trying to make fun of him. It is  Lucius Malfoy, you can never know what is happening with him.

All of a sudden, he felt sick. He hates the way people talk to him. Hurt him, like he wasn't even human.

What if Lucius want to do the same?

He always wanted his first kiss to be perfect. So far, it has been. But who knew what the future might holds ?

Tears came pouring down his face

What the f*ck Severus! You just had your first kiss! Be grateful.

Stop! Stop!

Severus felt his chest tighten and suddenly have difficulty breathing. He dug his sharp fingernails into his arms and dragged down. He did that over and over again to at least try to calm him.

What made him think it will work?

Severus raised his hand to wiped his eyes.

Tear mixed with blood slid down the parchment white color of his face leaving a faint red trail behind.

Severus blinked. Oh, the blood is from his hands, more specifically, his arms. Now bleeding. He closed his eyes and took a shuddering breath. He heard himself shouting that day at his mother's funeral

'You tell his son this! Right in front of her grave! I hate you! I hate you all!'

The memory of that still haunts him and probably will forever

Once he finally was able to calm himself, Severus looked at his arms.

It was bleeding, it was not that bad of a wound,

But it will still  just be another scar later

Joining the countless ones already on his arms, fading to little red lines.

What have he done
