"Excuse me?" Severus said, disbelievingly, he simply cannot process what Lucius had just said.
He is your godfather
He haven't even agree to that!
"What he f-" he started but Lucius shushed him, "just do it, ok?" He hissed, "please?"
Severus nodded, just slightly, he don't want Lucius to think he had completely agreed to this.
Draco, knowing nothing of this, hugged Severus.
And awkward pause
Then Severus hugged him back, also awkwardly
"Come on" Lucius said, let's go back to the manor, Narcissa isn't there"
Severus hesitated for a second and followed reluctantly, then he disaparated
The cold hit his face like daggers and his hair was now in his face. By the time he aparated into the oh so familiar garden of the Malfoy Manor, Lucius and Draco were already there, grinning at him. Severus pursed his lips and said nothing, looking anywhere but at Lucius. He can feel Lucius' eyes on him, he self consciously moved his hair out of his face. It sure look like something else they both know they've done.
Severus looked at the tall, beautiful yet so mysterious manor, he had ran from here so long ago. Now he is back, for what? For being Draco's godfather instead of what else he could have been for Draco.
Right after they entered the manor, Lucius turned to Draco and said, "how about you go play upstairs, Draco? Severus and I have to talk about something"
Draco nodded and ran upstairs gleefully, stumbling a little. Lucius smiled.
"He uh, look like you " Severus said, it was really awkward.
"Listen! Sev, I am so, so sorry about what had happened before, I didn't mean to say what I said and I still love you, I still love you even after all of this. You, not Narcissa. I hope you can forgive me" he said all in one breath, looking at Severus just like he had before.
Severus let a shaky breath out, he had realized he was holding his breath until then. He know he still love Lucius too but it all seems so quick. One moment he was buying potion ingredients, the second he was whisked off to the Malfoy Manor.
But this is a yes or no question.
"I- yes" Severus said quietly.
Lucius shouted for joy as he hugged him and peppering kisses all over Severus' face.
Severus found himself smiling up at him jus like old times.
"Let's go to my room, Sev, we have so much to catch up"
