Nate Archibald love story

Chapter 2

In case you guys were unsure: N= Nate and A=Amy, when they are texting each other!

It was Saturday, so I had the whole weekend to do whatever I wanted. I woke up at around 10:30am and looked at my phone. I checked all my notifications and then realised I had a text from Nate
Hey, how are you this morning? Going for a run later, wanna come?:) N.
Hey N, not bad thanks, and sure sounds good A:)
Ok great see u in 20?:) N
Yeh see you soon:) A
As soon as we finished texting I got up out of bed and got changed into some Nike leggings, a tank top and some Nike trainers. I quickly put my hair up in a messy bun and waited for Nate. Just as I was walking downstairs there was a knock on the door. I answered it and there stood Nate with his gorgeous blue eyes... Oh god this cannot be happening, I cannot be falling for Nate Archibald... Can I?
I was then snapped out of my thoughts when Nate spoke up and said "you ready?"
"Sure lets go" I replied and we started walking to the park. As we were waking we got talking and started chatting about or families and friends and getting to know each other better. We finally got to the park when Nate said "You see that tree over there?"
"Yeh" I said looking a bit confused.
"Well why don't we race there, and if I win I get to take you out to dinner tonight... Oh and I also get a quick kiss?" He asked with a cheeky smirk on his face.
"Sure and if I win... Then no kiss for you tonight!" I said while chuckling.
"Well we'll have to see about that... Because I'm going to beat you anyway."
"Oh so your a man with confidence I see.. Well I quite like that!" I pointed out.
"Well then... Ready... Steady... Go" as he said that we both started running.
We were about equal until half way, he started to over take me so I picked up the pace a little and then I was in front of him. However he managed to get in front of me, so I decided to give him a gentle push out the way! I sneakily crept up right next to him and pushed him a little.. But a little to much he ended up falling onto the newly cut grass. I just stood there and laughed as I said"oops, sorry it was an accident"
"Of course it was.... You could at least help me up" he said with a cheeky smile on his face.
So I put my hand out to help him up and just as he started to get up, he pulled me down, so I ended up on top of him.
"Oops sorry, it was an accident " he said whilst chuckling
I just laughed and said "well I think you'll find neither of us won... So no kiss and no dinner"
"It's a shame, I was looking forward to that kiss" he said and before I could open my mouth to say anything else our lips crashed together.
