The vampires and the Doctor

Chapter 1- Infatuated with vampires

The doctor's pov [A/N 10th doctor....just because I can]

so I stood piloting the tardis, she making wheezing noises and doing what she does best, "Doctor....do you have the book Dracula?" Maisie asked me, and I huffed, "I should do, there's a trick you can do in the library....ask for the book and the author and it should come to you," I said, she nodded walking away.

Maisie Loves vampires, she made me watch Twilight last week, which thrilled her as she watched it for the seventy-thousandth time, as for me, not so much, I like vampires as a mythical creature, but not enough to be in love with them, she's even 'cosplayed' as she called it, as a vampire, which she looked great.

she returned with the book in her hand already halfway into the book, "You read fast!" I said she laughed, "You know me, doctor, I love vampires, plus Dracula By Bram Stoker is an original...have you seen the film?" she asked, I shook my head, she smiled, "We can watch it tomorrow....but for now, I'll keep reading," she said.

it took her less than a week to finish Dracula, and we did watch it, I liked it, so creepy, and she loved it, "do you think....we could....ya know....visit?" she asked me, I huffed, "Maisy, vampires are myths, they are not real" I said to her, "But with what we've already experienced doctor, the loch ness monster, bigfoot, and Frankenstein....surely he's real, please?" she asked looking at me, I huffed, "Fine....what year?" I said, she smiled and looked at the book's page, "1890" she said smiling.

I nodded, "we better go get changed as I don't think they'd like us wearing 21st-century clothes" she said, I nodded and we got to the wardrobe room...

Maisie's pov

so I wore a dress that fit the 1890s and did my hair, my dress was long enough so I could wear my Converse because I knew we'd have to run at some point, the doctor came out, and I laughed at him, "what?" he asked, "it's just so funny to see you in different clothes....you look like crowley from good omens" she said, [A/N, of course, I had to make that joke!!!] he looked confused, "never mind" I said.

he walked away, and the tardis stopped, "'We are here....Maisie...just be careful....you could be turned into a vampire....I'm not sure about me....being a time lord" he said, I looked at him, "You're scared aren't you?" I asked him, but he didn't say anything, "Doctor, look at me," I said, and he did, "you've fought so many monsters, Frankenstein was scared of you, Dracula....is nothing" I said.

he nodded, "Besides, we know his weakness...." I said he smiled, "Garlic, Holy water, sunlight, stakes, silver, fire, crucifix, running water," we said in unison, "keep that in mind," I said, he nodded, so we got out the tardis...

it was dark, a mansion on a hill, silence, then one single bolt of lightning, cracked over the mansion lighting it up to see a figure in the main mansion window, I couldn't see who it was, but it made me jump holding onto the doctor's arm, "who's the scared one now?" he asked in a fake Transylvanian accent, "Doctor...don't" I squeaked out, he laughed and hugged me, "Just messing with you" he said.

I nodded, and we walked to the door, it was so fancy, ending at the top with a point, the doctor knocked with the door knocker, it made a large thudding noise, but nothing happened, "Hello?" the doctor shouted, "try it again" I whispered, he nodded, another large thudding noise from the knocker, the door opened with a creek, "yes?" A man stood there, "Hi...I'm the doctor and this is my friend, Maisie....we were lost and needed a place to call for help" the doctor said, I couldn't believe he was trying the rocky horror move.

he looked at us up and down, "you better both come inside" he said, we nodded and stepped in, the hallway was dark and gothic, the guy looked at us, "The master is attending to business at this precise moment, I will let you get acquainted, my friends will also be down in a moment, sit, sit!" he said.

we did so, and three people came down, three females, "this is Mariella, Lenora and Edana, my friends," he said, we nodded, "And you are?" Mariella asked, "I'm the doctor and this is Maisie," he said, he went to shake their hands, but they didn't accept them, "you look like lost puppies," Edana said, "we are lost, we just need to phone for help....can we use your phone?" he asked, the man laughed.

we looked at each other, " we do not have a phone, my apologies, I forgot to make my acquaintance, I am Renfield, assistant to Dracula" he said, we looked at each other, "Good going Sherlock, that's foiled our fake plan" I whispered, "Renfield, nice to meet you" he said, Renfield looked at us.

he huffed, Mariella smirked, her vampire fangs showing a tiny bit, "V-Vampires" we both said acting scared, "Of course we are vampire's couldn't you tell?" Edana said, "the pale skin, the odd looks, and the silence" Mariella said, that's when we heard him, "RENFIELD!!!" he shouted, "Sorry Master, but we have guests, The doctor and Maisy" he said.

I grabbed the doctor's hand, "Bring them, up, I'd like to introduce myself" he said, "Follow me, please" so we did, we walked up the ornate stairs and arrived into dracula's study, he was sat down on a really fancy chair, "velcome to my home, I am dracula" he said, we nodded, "I'm the doctor and this is Maisy" the doctor said.

he smirked, his fangs showing, "you're the head vampire then?" I asked him, he nodded, he sat us down, "Blood?" he asked us, pointing the blood bag to us, we shook our heads grimacing, "right...you're humans" he said, we nodded again, Renfield came with key's, "you're bed chambers" he said, we looked at each other, "go on then, you must be tired....both of you" he said.

we nodded and headed to our separate bed chambers....
