I sat in Lenora's bedroom as we now decided to call them, she pinning my hair up to be prepared to be curled, Mariella and Edana got my dress sorted and cleaned, I sat looking into the vanity, bags under my eyes, tired, I yawned, "I thought vampires couldn't get tired" I said, they smiled, "you're a mother now, that's apart of motherhood, the tiredness" Lenora said.
the door knocked, "Yes?" Edana asked, "Momma??" a little voice came out, "oh pumpkin patch, come on in" I said, she tried the door, "Can't reach," she said, Mariella opened it for her, she giggled, "Hey there's our troublemaker," Lenora said, she laughed more, I placed her on my lap, "did daddy send you?" I asked, and she nodded, "he said, since I'm a young girl, I can come in here" she tried to say.
I nodded in agreement, "very true" I said...
The doctor's pov
I sat on the bed, checking the checklist, and the master came in, "Bachelor party!!!" he said, huffed, "I told you no, Master, I didn't want anything big, please..." I said he sat down, "It's your last night a single man, doc, it was just going to be hunting and blood....kinda took it off twilight, but never mind ay?" he asked me.
I huffed, "I want to see Maisie....right now," I said...
Maisie's pov
Lenora looked uneasy, "what's happened?" I asked her, "The doctor wants to see you....right now," she said, "Let him see me, is he getting cold feet?" I asked her, and she shrugged, "No clue, he won't tell us what's wrong, maybe you could talk to him," she said, 'it's okay, you can come talk to me' I told him in my mind.
the door knocked, "come in" I said, he didn't, "babe, it's okay, I'm not dressed yet" I said, I opened the door, and he looked nervous, I grabbed his hand and sat him down on Lenora's bed, "cold feet?" I asked him, he nodded, grabbed his hands and smiled, "you'll be fine baby, today, is going to go smoothly, I just know it" I said smiling.
he huffed, I grabbed him closely, and he pulled me onto the bed, "You little sneak!" I said, and he laughed, Lenora came into her room, "what has he done now?" she asked, "your brother acted, just so he could get a few minutes with me" I said, he laughed and rolled his eyes, "Okay, 5 minutes, but brother?" she asked, "Yes?" he asked, "No funny business please!" she said, "FINE!" he said.
I laughed, "So....today's the day," I said, he nodded, "today, is the day!" he said, and we kissed, "I love you" I whispered, he smiled, "I love you too" he whispered back, we smiled, a small knock came on the door, "Yes?" I asked, "Momma, you in here?" she asked, "yes princess," I said, I got up and picked her up, "BOO!" the doctor said, "DADA, YOU SCARED ME!!!" she said, he laughed, he kissed her cheek, "Hi dada," she said, "Hey my little pumpkin patch," he said.
She looked at him, "why are you in here, dada should be with uncle and grandpa" she said cross, he huffed, "You caught me, I wanted a few minutes with mommy" he said, I nodded, "Oh okay" she said, she hugged us, "Wove you" she said, we smiled, "we love you too, now is it okay, I talk to mommy?" he asked her, she nodded, Lenora grabbed her and I smiled.
we hugged, "you nervous?" he asked me, I shook my head, "what about you?" I asked him, and he smiled, "A little, but I am excited because I am marrying the love of my life" We kissed, "See you later my love" he said, I smiled and he walked out of the room, Lenora came back, "Now are you ready?" she asked me.
I huffed nodding....
we went with a gothic makeup look and a half up half down hairstyle, my dress was ready....
