Maisie's pov

I felt a sharp pain in my side, I tried to hide it, "Babe...are you okay?" he asked me, I nodded, "Ow...." I felt the pain again, "really....Now?" I asked, the doctor looked at me, "she's ready?" he asked me, I nodded, "she wants out" I said in pain, he nodded, "it's go time" Lenora said...

[NOW]

I grabbed the doctor's hands, "you okay to stand?" he asked me, I tried to but failed, "I can't" I said, he picked me up and got me to our room, Lenora, Renfield and Sidney joined me, the doctor laid me down on our bed, Lenora got me ready, I grabbed the doctors hand and Renfields.

I tried pushing, "I can't do this," I said, and the doctor smiled, "Of course, you can baby, you can," he said, I looked at him with a death glare, "Maisie, you can do this okay, you are so strong, I love you," he said, I nodded and put my head in his chest, "One more Maisie," the medic said, "Brother...any encoragement?" I huffed, he smiled, "Of course sister, you are amazing and Jane is so lucky to have parents like you and the doctor" he said, I smiled.

we heard a cry, "she's here" I said, the doctor smiled, "she's here" he said, we kissed, they cleaned her up and helped me out, they gave her to me, "Hi my little girl" I said smiling, she looks so much like the doctor, I smiled, "she's amazing" the doctor said, I nodded, "She's like her father" I said, he smiled, "No...she's just like her mother" he said, I nodded.

Lenora, Mariella and dracula came in, "Family...meet Jane" the doctor whispered, "Aww, she's so cute" Mariella said, "Just like her mother" Lenora whispered, "Can I have a cuddle?" dracula said, I huffed, "Her dad hasn't even held her yet, so hold your horses" I said, they nodded and I passed her to the doctor, who smiled.

The doctor's pov

I looked at her, she is the spitting image of Maisie, but she has my colouring, "Hi my little munchkin, it's daddy" I said, she whined and then cried, "you got this?" I asked her, she nodded and grabbed the bottle, she fed her and then passed her back to me, she yawned, and slept.

I sat down with her on my chest, "I got this, you have some rest" I said, she nodded and yawned, falling asleep, dracula sat down in the Opposite chair to our bed, he smiled, "It's so weird seeing you with a child" A voice said, the master, I nodded, "father instincts are kicking in again" I said, he nodded, Jane looked up at me, "you awake now?" I asked her, she smiled, I grabbed her hand with my finger, "whoa little one you are so strong!" I said, she smiled again.

the master sat next to me, "Can Uncle Master have a hold?" he asked me, I nodded, I passed her to him, "Hey little one, I'm your uncle master, we are going to have so much fun" he said, she started crying, but the master rocked her gently, "shh, it's okay" he said, I smiled, "Can I?" he asked him, he passed her to dad and he was amazing with her, "she looks just like you Maisie" he said.

she smiled...

Maisie's pov

I huffed happily, looking at the men in my life, my boyfriend, my brother and my boyfriends dad, I felt bliss, but then pain, "Doctor" I hissed, he looked at me, "Maise, what's up, are you okay?" he asked me, "Pain...everywhere" I said holding my stomach, I screamed, I pulled my hand from my stomach and there was blood, "Dad, get the master and our baby out of here, now!" the doctor said.

they left, "I'm Bleeding" I hissed, "where?" he asked me checking me over, "M-My stomach..." I said, the doctor grabbed me, he looked, "How?" I asked, I screamed again, I heard the door open and someone by my side holding my arm, "How can I help?" renfields voice, "help me stop this bleeding" he said stressed.

I looked up at the doctor, "Don't you dare leave me alone, you hear me Maisie" he said, "you...know most females don't make it out of birth of their child" I rasped out, "you're giving me this fact now....as you are bleeding out?" he asked, I nodded, "she's trying to humor you doctor" Ren said.

The doctor's pov

she grabbed my hand, it went limp "MAISIE JAMES YOU ARE NOT DYING IN THE 1800'S TO OUR CHILD, YOU HEAR ME, YOU ARE NOT DYING!!!" I shouted, and she was  now unconscious, "MAISIE!!!" I shouted, I held her hand, "She's gone doctor" renfield said broken, "SHE CAN'T BE GONE, SHE'S A MOTHER TO OUR CHILD, NOT AGAIN, PLEASE, PLEASE!" I shouted, the doors slammed open, dad, Lenora, Edana and mariella rushed to my side, "she can't be gone" I squeaked, I sobbed, hard.

they hugged me, the master came in with Jane in his arms, he looked at me and renfield, "No" he said, he rushed to our side, "She can't be gone!" he said, we all nodded, "she is gone" renfield said, "C-can I have time to say goodbye?" I asked them, they nodded, "we will be right outside if you need us" Lenora said, she kissed my forehead.

they left and I stood up and laid with her, "I am so sorry baby, I am so, so sorry" I said breaking down in tears, Maisie was right, most vampire woman do not make it out of giving birth to their child and I guess she was just one of the unlucky ones, I just wish I knew how to save her, I can't go back and save her, paradox would ruin everything.

I kissed her, "good night my gorgeous girl, I will take care of our little girl and tell her every day that her mummy loves her very much" I said, I covered her head with the blanket... and left...
