 It was morning now, Killua could tell. There wasn't light in the section of the burrow that he and Gon were resting in, but he could see the light coming from the next section over. He was really hungry, having missed both dinner and breakfast, and wanted to go eat something. Gon was still on his lap though, so he gently shook Gon awake and told him he was going to the town for breakfast.

"Breakfast?" Gon asked, hopping up. "Ow!" Gon winced as his head bounced off the ceiling of the small burrow. His eyes still sparkled though.

Killua had always admired that. No matter what happens, even something small like bumping his head, Gon was always happy. Killua . . . Killua . . . the sounds interrupted his thoughts, and he finally realized that Gon was talking to him.

"Yea?" Killua asked, lacing his fingers together behind his head, and acting like he didn't care.

"Can we go to a baseball game too? I heard there's supposed to be a really big one here today, and I've never actually been to a baseball game." Gon said with a big grin.

"Sure. Let's go before the cafes start to close, though." Killua replied.

~~~~~~
Half an hour later, Killua and Gon had changed and taken showers, and they were on their ways to a small cafe called Machi's Coffee. Once they arrived, they sat down in a small secluded booth.
"Hi Killu!" Said Machi, an old friend of Illumi's. "Your usual?"
Killu blinked, 'usual?' Did he have a usual? Oh wait, yes he did, black coffee and strawberry pancakes. "Yea, sure I'll take my usual."
"And for you young sir?" Machi asked.
"Uhm, can I get whatever Killua got?" Gon asked awkwardly.
"Sure, so that's two black coffees and two orders of strawberry pancakes." Machi informed them.
'Pancakes,' Gon thought, 'this must be why Killu smelled like pancakes.' "Can I actually get an iced oat milk latte instead of a black coffee?" Gon asked politely.
"Sure, I'll be right back!" Machi said with a small bow as she left.
"So you can't handle a little black coffee?" Killua teased.
"Hey! Shut up! Just because I'm sheltered doesn't mean I can't handle it! I just don't want it!" Gon shouted defensively.
Killu got quiet for a moment. 'Why didn't I take my parents into account?!' He thought, mentally facepalming. 'He is sheltered! And my parents are definitely going to try to kill him! I should probably warn him.'
"Killua?" Gon asked, bringing Killua back to reality.
"What?"
"I was wondering if you're okay, also what you were thinking about." Gon answered.
"Well, my parents are trained assassins, and they're more than likely going to try and kill you, to test you, so I just want you to be ready." Killua said so quietly that his voice was barely a whisper, and he was gripping the edge of the table so hard his knuckles were white.
"Okay." Gon said, giving Killua a not-so-reassuring thumbs up.
A couple minutes later, Machi came back with their food, so they stopped conversing, and just ate.
~~~~~~

The ballpark was crowded, and the game was about to end. It was the final inning and the score was tied. With the final team up to bat, they had 2 outs and 1 run. The whole game was riding on the person up to bat.

Killua couldn't focus on the game, because he was distracted by Gon, who was spellbound, and hadn't looked away once.

The pitcher threw the ball, and- the batter bunted! Running to first base at full speed, the batter slid and made it to the base just before the first base man caught the ball. At the same time, the runner on third ran home and scored the team another run! They were in the lead!

Gon turned to Killua for the first time since the game started, and told Killua (Who had looked away the second Gon had turned to him) that he was thankful for getting to go to the game. Killu just blushed and told him it was whatever.

After the game, when Killu and Gon had stood up to leave, the announcer came on over the speakers and told everybody to stay seated because they were going to be doing a kisscam today. Killu dragged Gon back to their seats just to watch, even though Gon just wanted to leave.

Killua saw dozens of couples kiss on the cam, and he just wished that he and Gon would appear on the camera.

As though his wish had been heard, the camera looked directly at the two boys. Gon froze up but Killu just kissed Gon's cheek. The crowd groaned, they wanted the couple to kiss on the lips. Gon finally unfroze and grabbed Killua's head, kissing him hard. The crowd cheered, and the camera moved on, but not Gon and Killua. Gon and Killua kept kissing. Killua was blushing so hard, but he closed his eyes and kissed right back. Gon tasted like a fresh ocean breeze combined with berries in the best possible way; whereas Killua tasted like mint and pancakes. Finally the two separated, and left the stadium.

The two boys couldn't make eye contact with each other after that. They had both enjoyed it, but neither of them would ever admit it.

When they hopped into a taxi, they were still silent, until finally Gon spoke.

"Did, Did that really just happen?"

"I guess there's a first time for everything." Killua replied.
