"Father, he has passed, I think we should."

pause.

"Yes, okay, I understand. I shall inform him."

pause.

"Okay, goodbye and good luck."

~~~~~~~
It was early, 2 am, and both Gon and Killua were passed out on Kilu's bed haphazardly. Once Gon had collected Killua, he had carried him up to his room and then passed out on top of him. It had been a long and sort of dizzying day.
Illumi had just gotten off of a call with his father, Silva Zoldyck, who was busy with an important assassination. Illumi had called about Gon, to inform his father of Gon's particularly striking skills.
When Hisoka had woken up, he was both horny and beyond furious. Gon had defeated him. Gon had annihilated Hisoka. Hisoka wanted nothing more than to bust down Killua's door and take Gon away. Hisoka wanted to fight Gon and relieve his pain kink at the same time. "Oh Gon~" Hisoka moaned under his breath.
"Do shut up." Illumi groaned, miffed.
"Jealous?" Hisoka said, feigning concern.
"You wish." Illumi retorted.
"Don't worry, you're still my favorite person to piss off." Hisoka said, hugging Illumi from behind.
"Unfortunately," Illumi said, hugging Hisoka's arms.
~~~~~~

Killua blinked harshly and searched for a pillow to cover his eyes with. The sun was streaming directly into his face, both awakening him and annoying him. He fully opened his eyes and couldn't find a pillow near him. He took a sharp breath in.

"Ow!" He gasped sharply. Something was squishing his rib cage, making it difficult to breathe. As he  looked at his body, he realized it was Gon. He tried to recall how he ended up in bed, but had no recollection of the event. He determined Gon must have carried him up.

The thought of Gon carrying him bridal-style up the stairs and to his bed made a blush creep up his neck and to his cheeks.

After relishing in the moment and slowly suffocating for a while, Killua gently pushed Gon off of him.

A groggy Gon made a noise that sounded like a cross between a whine and an 'oof'.

'Oh god, even his weird morning sounds are cute.' Killua thought to himself exasperatedly.

Killua sat up and adjusted himself so that he was facing Gon's head.

'I really hope neither of us start to regret this.' Killu thought worriedly, before planting a soft kiss on Gon's forehead.

Gon popped up suddenly, blushing deep scarlet.

"Did you just, kiss me?" Gon asked, tilting his head slightly and looking at Killua with a mixture of affection and surprise.

"Depends," mumbled Killua, fidgeting, "Did you like it?"

Gon smirked at Killu. "Does this suffice?" and with that he kissed Killua's cheek.

"Stop it," Killua said blushing deeper than Gon had. "It's embarrassing."

"What is?" Gon asked, oblivious.

"Your affection." Killu said, "I'm not used to it."

Gon laughed softly, "Oh, I don't think so."

Killu embraced Gon and wrapped his legs around Gon's waist.

"Well that's 'cuz you're arrogant as fuck."

"I just love you, I thought you knew that when i kissed you at the baseball game." Gon said, resting his head on Killu's shoulder.

"I need to tell you," Killu mumbled.

"Tell me what?" Gon asked, picking his head back up.

"I, forget it, it's nothing."

Gon looked at his best friend, and wondered if he should push further, but decided not to.

"Okay, Killu,"

The boys stopped talking and sat in a comfortable silence; just cuddling.

~~~~~~~
'I should have told you.' Killu said, mentally cursing.
'I need you Gon, I love you.'
He started to cry, small heaves shaking his body. He ruined his opportunity, even after Gon confessed his love. 'Stupid, stupid.' He told himself.
Gon stroked Kiilu's back. "Hey, it's okay, I'm right here, why are you crying?"
Killua tried to get himself to talk, he dug his nails into Gon's shoulders and grabbed his shirt. He laid his head against the older boy's chest. He was fucking up his chances again
"I-I" was all he could manage.
"It's okay, take your time, as your friend, I care about you, and I can wait." Gon soothed, continuing to stroke Killua's back.
Killua nodded and sobbed into his chest. just couldn't speak. 'Oh well,'
He cried for several minutes before he forced himself to stop.
He dried his tears and made dead eye contact with the beautiful boy he had the privilege of loving.
"I need to tell you."
'This again?' Gon vaguely wondered.
"Tell me what, Killu?"
"I-" He wondered if he could. Was he too weak, would Gon shun him and shut him out? No. Gon felt the same way. 'Say it!' He urged himself.
"I love you."
