We all stayed silent, looking at the person who we couldn't tell who or what it was, before Johnny spoke up, breaking the ice, "Y'all think he's planning to run all night?"
I shook my head as Gyro spoke for me, "Unthinkable, that horse would just get in an accident in the dark. He might come over here."
Gyro then raised his head, "You just said that this route was full of weirdos. Johnny, did you bring a weapon?"
"When you say 'weirdos'," I looked at Gyro, as I got closer to Johnny in case we were attacked, "you mean guys like that Mrs. Robinson, right? That was by chance."
It was silent, before he answered again, "You think so? We're champion candidates, and everyone knows your name, [Y/N]. If you have any weapons, get them out. If he comes near us, well drive him back."
Johnny then quickly got himself near his bag, trying to get something out of it, "J-just in case, I did bring a gun, but I've never fired before..."
I then heard the stop of searching noises, and thinking that Johnny had finally found his gun, I looked behind, only to meet with Gyro's opened bag as Johnny stared at the papers that stuck out.
I couldn't see as much as Johnny about the content inside the bag, but I did see the letter holder. The letter holder with the Coats Of Arms design. I tried to look at Gyro, but he was no longer by my side, but right behind Johnny, watching his every move with the eyes of a hawk.
"Were you taught to look through other people's stuff while growing up?"
This took both me and Johnny aback, and we thought that he would do something about it, but he simply turned around. I had no idea why, but the way and tone he spoke in, the notes that his voice hit, they got to me, they had done something to me.
He had done something to me.
"I... I wasn't looking through! But you... Who are you? You're not from this country!"
"You should stick to opening your own luggage."
Gyro didn't comment any further, and the topic wasn't brought up again. But we wanted to know, we needed to know. It would be a mistake to trust someone who you didn't know a thing about, it could bring harm and danger to everyone around. A question still stuck to the back of my mind though, I knew it would go unanswered, but I wanted to know.
Why was Gyro able to use his ability, Steel Ball.
"He's really coming over here after all," Gyro spoke up, easing us slightly from the tension.
We both looked at where the directions Gyro's eyes were averted to, as I made my way to his side. "Looks like the balloons have landed. This might have bacon a race interference allowed route," he then took a look at Johnny and I, "never let him come near."
"Alright, stop there, don't come any closer! Yeah you, I'm talking to you! I told you to stop right there!"
The rider came into our view, seeing as it was a young boy, probably in his late teens or early twenties. He raised his hands up in the air, signifying he diss intent to harm us, "Don't shoot! I mean no harm! I came here because I saw the fire!"
