Mar age? (One shot)

"Mar age?" -blue
"Marriage!" Steven exclaims
Steven and Yellow and Blue diamond sit on the beach.
Stevens been introducing them to earth and some of the customs. And trying to get them to warm up to humans so they agree not to kill them all.
"What is this Mare ge" -yellow
"It's where two people, make a promise to each other to be with them for ever and ever. And you sign a paper and you're legally bound to each other forever....well, unless you get a divorce." -s
Blue claps her hands excitedly. "Oh yellow WE should get mar age!" -b
"What!?" -s
"Well, we've been together for eons an we certainly love each other Very much!" -b
Blue grabs yellows arm and snuggles into her shoulder.
"Well, uh. it's usually for people who... are like together." Steven press two fingers together.
"We are together :D" -b
"Uh, okay, well for example, Garnet is married, well, ruby and sapphire are..." -s
Blue stiffens. (She's still uncomfortable with the whole fusion thing.)
"But! But, they are very happy and they love each other very much."
"I think Blue's ideas reasonable enough." -y
"Wait, Aren't you guys...sisters?" -s
"What's a sister?" -b
Yellow laughs
"Steven we're beings constructed entirely of energy and light. We are incapable of biological relationships. It's not gem nature to have familial connections to other gems. Blue and I are partners if you will. We have been since before the war, stars, since before pink emerged." -y
"I'd love to mare age you yellow." -b
Blue kisses her partner on her cheek.
A light blush spreads across yellow's cheeks. She holds blues hand.
"Um...are you guys sure? You have to like kiss in the end and stuff." -s
Yellow laughs.
"Oh we kiss all the time!! That's where like your lips touch right?" -b
"Ye-yeah." *uncomfortably* -s
"Yes. Let's get marriage." With her free hand yellow wraps her arm around blues shoulders.
"This is going to be sooo much fun!" -b
"Uh, it's settled I I guess...I'mmmm going to go tell Pearl!" Steven scrambles up and runs for the temple
"Peeesaaarrrllll we have a situation!!"
...
"So...they're sure about this?" -p
"Yeah, I guess so." -s
"I thought they were sisters..." -s
"Steven, We are incapable of bio-"
"Logical relationships. We're beings made of light bla bla bla, Yeah, that's what they said."
The two look out the window onto the beach. The two diamonds have shrunk themselves down so they can share a blanket. Blues head is on yellows shoulder.
*blue and yellow pearl enter the room*
"Did you guys know about this?" Steven gestures towards the window.
"Yeah..." -yp
"Isn't it obvious?" -bp
Pearl and Steven look at each other and shake their heads.
"We've known for eons." -yp
"Sometimes my diamond leaves for yellows temple and doesn't return until morning." -bp
Pearl covers Stevens ears.
"Blue!" -p
"What?" -bp
"And we're not allowed to be in the temple when blue diamond stays the night, we don't know why but of course we follow orders regardless." -yp
"My diamond doesn't cry for the whole day afterwards, I wish we would stay over more often..." bp
"Both of you shut up! Steven doesn't know about these...things." -p
Thetwo diamonds are lying down in the sand. Blue lies halfway on yellows chest with yellows arms around her as they watch the sunset.
"Yellow is the only one who can make her stop crying." -bp
"And blue is the only one who can make her stop working." -yp
Pearl uncovers Stevens ears.
"I think...a wedding sounds like a great idea." -p
"Great, I'll go tell them!" -s
Yellow Pearl grabs the back of Steven's shirt before he can run off. She points out the window.
The yellow diamond plants a light kiss on blue's forehead.
"Let them have this." Yp
"They're finally at peace, let them relish." -bp

Ruby circles around yellow. The other rubys chase each other around the room
"Hmmmmmmm....." -r
"Well???" -y
"It needs...something." -r
"Something?" -y
"Something." -r
"What??" -y
"I'm thinking jeez." -r
Yellow wears a white wedding suit. It has three pieces, gold buttons, and a gold tie.

It fits her well, matches her energy. Yellow Pearl is on dirt duty, making sure the expensive suit doesn't get stained.
"Hhhmmm. One sec, PERRRIDOOOT!" -r
Peridot, who's on flower duty again. Runs into the room.
"Yeah." -p she looks tired and annoyed.
"Bring me some blue flowers." -r
ruby stands with her hand on her chin looking at yellow diamond.
"Fine." Peridot jogs out of the room and comes back with a blue hydrangea plant from the bouquet.
"Here." She holds it out to ruby.
"Thanks." -r
Even though yellow shrunk herself down, ruby still needs to stand on a two other rubys shoulders to reach her head.
Ruby moves some of yellows hair away from her ear and places the flower behind it.
Without her helmet, yellows hair is a pale yellowish white color-
