Bellow Diamond <3

Clouded minds (one shot)

Blue: "Okay, Yellow, I swear I just did it-"
Yellow: "Uh huh."
They stand in one of blues large rooms on her side of the palace. Blues backed up a bit focusing on her hands. She holds them apart with her fingers curled in like she was holding a soccer ball. She stares right in the center of the space between them, furrowing her eyebrows.
After a few more moments she throws her arms down in defeat.
B: "I don't understand! I was doing it earlier."
Y: "Well what were you doing when you did it?"
B: "I wasn't doing anything, well, thinking perhaps."
Y: "What were you thinking about?"
B: "Well I don't know! It was like 30 earth minutes ago. Ah, maybe...Visiting Phora K9, or the Piathea kindergarten sodalites, or perhaps my Pearl, or your Pearl, ooh, or you!"
Y: "Me? Now why would you be thinking about me."
B: "Well you're very important to me of course I'm going to think about you. I think about you rather often actually."
Y: "Do you now?"
B: "Yes, yes I do."
Y: "Aw how nice of you."
B: "What you don't think about me throughout the day?"
Y: "Well to some extent you're important to me as well, so when I'm not preoccupied or otherwise doing something important I suppose I do."
Blue slightly blushes. She closes her eyes and smiles.
Right around her head, powder blue clouds start to form.
Y: "Woah, Blue, is that what you were talking about??"
Blue opens her eyes and looks astonished at the clouds.
B: "Yes! Yes it is! I never even knew I could this! They just come out of nowhere." She opens up her hands and a cloud rises out from her palms and up to the glass ceiling.
She giggles.
With the clouds all surrounding her Blue looked absolutely stunning. Smiling, eyes closed happily, shoulders going up and down as she laughed. Her hair falling a little into her face. Yellow blushes, never really experiencing these feelings for blue, well, at least not to this extent...
The clouds fog the place all around them. The two smile and laugh with each other. Blue looks over the diamond in front of her. Yellows laughing, smiling, her face devoid of her typical annoyed or stressed expression. She's clutching the side of her head, her helmet askew, showing her hair of which nobody ever saw. Overwhelmed with joy seeing her friend so carefree, Blue crosses the space between them. Yellow opens her eyes to a grinning blue holding both of her hands.
Blue giggles and whips them around in a circle; they laugh the clouds making them high on absolute joy. They flop down on a few of the surprisingly stable large clouds, lightly floating in the air.
Y: "Oh blue, you are truly wonderful!"
B: "Not anymore than yourself!" She laughs
Y: "Oh?"
B: "Of course, your qualities exceed you. Why you are completely magnificent! *she starts listing out on her fingers* Diligent, adept, courageous, stoic, practical, and oh so very charming."
Y: "Why I'm charming? You, you my blue-. I could list your attributes for ages. Ethereal, devoted, gentle, Imperturbable, elegant, and absolutely ravishing."
Blue blushes.
B: "Oh Yellow. I wish I could spend eternity in this moment with you."
Y: "As do I blue. I've imagined a peaceful moment save for the two of us."
B: "Aww! You've been wanting to spend time with me? Why didn't you just ask??"
Y: "I don't know, I've been rather busy..."
B: "Oh no you haven't. We just got back."
Yellow would surly be confused later by how the cloud's effected her to say what came out of her mouth next.
Y: "Fine, I've been anxious."
B: "You anxious? Of what?"
Y: "Asking you to spend time with me. I'm quite...fond of you; and I stifled these emotions and didn't act on them to keep from making our partnership uncomfortable."
Blue stares at yellow in astonishment.
B: "Truly?"
Y: *clears throat* yes." She looks away slightly blushing.
She feels blues hand atop hers. She looks back over. Blue has a sweet small smile across her face.
B: "Aww Yellow... that's so sweet of you."
Y: "How do... you feel?"
B: "Oh my Yellow, I've loved you since not long after the beginning of era two..."
Yellow grins back at her.
Y: "Shall we be... real partners."
B: "I think that's a fantastic idea."
She giggles and practically jumps on Yellow embracing her.

White: "FINALLY! Stars what took you so long!"
Blue and yellow whip their heads towards the door.
Y: "WHITE??"
W: "The tension between the two of you has been shattering (killing) me for EONS!"
B: "Have you been...watching us this whole time?"
W: "Well yes, if I see random blue clouds floating throughout the palace I'm going to seek the source. And finally after being invested in your relationship for stars know how long I just happen to find the two confessing your feelings."
Y: "So you've been what was that Connie girl calling it? Oh, shipe-ing us!?"
W: "YES! Everyone has."
B: "Who's everyone?"
W: "The pearls, the sapphires, the rubys, the peridots, the agates, the topaz's, the jades... I could go on and on."
B: "Our pearls?"
W: "Yes. They them selves have been in a relationship for thousand of years."
Y: "WHAT!?"
B: "Awww, my sweet Bleu has a girlfriend? 😊"!
Y: "Yeah, and it's MY Yelena! I need to talk to her, this is unacceptable. She's only like, 95.000 years old! Not to mention it's unprofessional!"
W: "Okay, we're getting off topic, I'm announcing this immediately!"
She runs out of the room. Yellow jumps off of her cloud and chases after White.
Blue stays in the room. Making more and more clouds fill the room, giggling to herself.

{the next day}
Blue and Yellow haven't spoken to each other since the previous afternoon. Not exactly avoiding each other, but avoiding the awkwardness that was bound to happen.
Passing in the hallway:
They stop in front of each other.
B: "Hello Yellow."
Y: "Hello Blue....look I-"
B: "Shhh. Don't worry about it. The clouds seem to have an emotional effect on whoever they touch. We were simply out of our heads."
Y: "No but, I was being truthful. The clouds simply loosened me up enough to confess."
B: "Truly?"
Y: "Yes..."
Blue takes the few steps between them over to Yellow and puts her hands on her shoulders.
B: "Oh how I love you..."
Yellow tilts up Blues chin and kisses her. Hands still on Yellows shoulders, Blue pulls her in to they're chest to chest and wraps her arms around her neck holding them in a loving embrace.
They separate and Yellow offers out her hand.
Y: "Come dear-"
Blue takes her hand.
B: "After all those eons, I've been waiting for this."
They walk hand and hand down the hallway
Yellow opens a hidden door in the corridor wall.
Grinning Blue pushes Yellow in the room; the door closes behind them.
