milani pov: its currently 11:50pm and we are still at the stu. we are all high out our asses. jay & ddot are in the booth while im sitting on the couch with my head on essence shoulder. "sis, can i uh.. can i talk to you?" she says kinda nervous playing with her fingers. "yea of course, cmon" i say getting up and bringing her somewhere quieter. we sit down and face her so she knows she has my attention. "ok so uh. when i tell you this you cant say anything to anyone. not mom, not jay, not even dd." she says. "okay, are you okay? your scaring me." i say genuinely worried. "uh yea i just- uh- well- just open this." she says handing me a box. i look down at it and slowly open it. the box hold a positive pregnancy test. i widen my eyes at her. "essence, is this yours?" i ask. she instantly burst into tears. i quickly close the box and hug her tight. "its okay baby, i got you. ill help you through this." i saw rubbing her back and hugging her. "what if mom hates me? what if dd hates me? what if he doesn't want it? lani what am i gonna do?" she says into my chest. i pull her out of my chest and grab her hands. "baby listen to me. mom will not hate you okay. i know that for sure. dd wont either. yes yous are young and yes its early, but you guys love eachother and care for eachother. anyone dead, alive, blind or stupid could see that. whenever you are ready tell him. it might take him by surprise but trust me. david loves you. he wont be mad or leave you for it." i say truthfully. yes they are young but dd would never do that. "you think so?" she says as tears are still coming down her face. "i know so" i reply wiping her tears. "when did you find out?" i ask. "a couple days ago. i was so scared to tell anyone. but now that you know i think i wanna tell them now. i mean we are all here, its just us so why not." she says. "if you're ready now, that go for it." i say. "ooo ima be a titi, i cannot wait" i say smiling big hugging my younger sister. she laughs as we get up and walk back inside. "you good ma?" dd ask her. "yea im good but uh, i gotta tell you guys something." she says looking over to me. i lightly squeeze her hand and whisper "dont be scared, i got you." shooting her a small smile. she smiles back a takes a deep breathe. "ok well uhm.. im pregnant." she says looking at dd. he instantly begins smiling. "wait like actually? like you're actually pregnant? like you arent pranking me right now right?" he says looking around for cameras. "no dickhead, im serious." she says showing him the positive pregnancy test. he looks and starts jumping and cheering. "IMA BE A DAD, IMA BE A DAD." he quickly picks up essence and brings her into a hug twirling them around. they both laugh as everyone else watches the interaction in awe. "im happy for you guys." a'niyah says smiling at them. "IMA BE AN UNCLE" notti screams dancing around. we all laugh and begin hugging both essence and dd. "take care of my sister dd seriously, i trust you." i say while hugging him. "i gotchu mh, yk i will." he says after letting go and smiling at me. jay comes over to me and pulls me into his chest wrapping his arms around my shoulders. i wrap my arms around his waist. "we're next" he whispers into my ear smirking at me. "aht aht, dont push it" i look up at him laughing. he sucks his teeth at me and places his head on top of mine. _________________________
